"Preparing for a fascist regime"

Liberals and their preparing for fascism and doing nothing about it.

[–] [email protected] 98 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Can you imagine a fascist regime?

They'd probably perpetuate a genocide while shouting down anyone against it

They'd increase police spending and militarization, while making people even more paranoid of 'others'

They'd increase military spending while the country was without a war

They'd probably treat ethnic and sexual minorities as an outgroup to abuse for societal wrongs

What a wild world that would be, thank goodness liberals don't do any of that

[–] [email protected] 56 points 1 month ago

she never said anything about preparing to oppose fascism

"what do you mean? I weighted my portfolio more towards private prisons"

[–] [email protected] 44 points 1 month ago

They voted, and have since absolved themselves of anything further than calling ICE on their neighbors.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 1 month ago

*Still would work for it though

Fascism is like a natural disaster !

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago

Fascism is every four years when the party I don’t like is in power; ignore the ongoing, bipartisan, genocide of a corralled and displaced population by an American puppet-state.

Preparing for a fascist regime? You chucklefucks not only rolled the red carpet on it you were greasing the grove. Wtf do you call having an absurdly high prison population, militarization of the police, perpetrating genocide, sanctioning a significant population of the planet? Fucking westerners live in a complete bubble

Preparing for a fascist regime can feel scary and paralyzing

What is this, a wikihow article? fuck you

[–] [email protected] 55 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oh God I used to write for wikihow. It bought me my first real guitar and then I bowed out.

Yeah sneaking that Japanese battle flag in the background was not as subtle as you think, Corgi.

An exception to the rule is if the reenactment allows zombies

I love the idea of the restless body of john-brown with an endless hunger for the blood of slavers and their defenders

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago

Bored of lying a mouldering in his grave, John Brown's body is marching along with his soul, brutalising confederates as it goes.

[–] [email protected] 71 points 1 month ago

what a disingenuous opportunist

[–] [email protected] 65 points 1 month ago (2 children)

It's a fascist regime but please only take meek, subversive steps, don't actually try to do something.

At this point I hate liberals even more than any other group

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

I think that's the consensus with everyone I know (at least in person).

I'd rather deal with a trump supporter any day compared to these shit lib trashcans. At least one doesn't try to claim moral authority

[–] [email protected] 63 points 1 month ago

If you're part of the govt during that fascist regime what does that mean

[–] [email protected] 62 points 1 month ago (5 children)

You want opsec? No computers. No phones. Use a pen and paper. Find and refurbish a mechanical typewriter. Seal your envelopes with wax and a sigil. Carve an abacus from wood.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 1 month ago (2 children)

pen and paper
mechanical typewriter

But both leave identifying "fingerprints" so to speak that will tie you to the communiques if you are ever raided. Consider donning gloves, using scissors to cut out words and letters from old print media and sticking them to a piece of paper like a serial killer from a cheesy movie.

Just write in heavily exaggerated cursive for sensitive items, they'll never be able to understand what I'm writing

[–] [email protected] 25 points 1 month ago

Uhh I don't have the grades to become a doctor

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 month ago (1 children)

And your comrades can just sorta pick up the gist from the vibe of what stationary you choose to use for that particular note.

Trotsky has sent a letter with perfume and flowing loopy script. I'm not sure what to do with it, or even what it says.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 month ago

god i wish that was me

take control w/ concrete steps

  • buy, borrow or steal a heavy hammer
  • smash the concrete steps into pieces of various sizes, smaller is easier to throw, heavier does more damage
  • form piles of concrete pieces in strategic locations sorted by size
  • from each according to their size to each according to their strength to yeet rocks
  • take your smashed up concrete pieces and hurl them at the armed enforcers of the fascist state
  • build slings to increase the velocity of smaller pieces of concrete
  • teach your children how to use slings effectively, they are deadly fucking accurate and almost anyone can make them
  • take your sledgehammer up the concrete stairs to the top of a building at least 3 stories high and smash some of those stairs, mainly into big pieces
  • drop big heavy pieces of concrete onto the heads of the armed enforcers of the fascist state
  • drive the means of fascist power from your city blocks and build parallel structures to replace the very few necessary services still provided under a fascist state

I mean. It's not fucking hard, Alexandria. Exarchia still stands and their struggle literally brought an end to a full blown military junta.

This is kind of like when COVID happened and they knew they weren't going to do shit for you so they just told you to wear a mask and wash your hands. Donate money to them and then help each other when they fail to act.

Also, much like COVID, these fucks will tell you to prepare for the worst while they go to parties and conventions. They'll actively participate in trying to make the worst happen.

[–] [email protected] 41 points 1 month ago

God she's such a pathetic LARPer.

[–] [email protected] 38 points 1 month ago

Funny how I get to use this twice in a day

The only time when "It's not my job to educate you" would be absolutely on point.
