I've flown into Utah on connecting flights a few times; even from high above, Salt Lake City is fucking bleak.
I heard via Derick Varn's streams about how they're using the water in the lake in the construction of the data centers, which will allow all sorts of toxic solutes to be blown into the city as the shoreline recedes.
It was already starting to happen before the fucking treat printers showed up. I can't enjoy schadenfreude about that because anyone living in that area is going to suffer because of the layers of rich white asshole hubris at play there.
