To appeal to the authoritarian tankies, the democrats would have to do things like improve democracy and not commit genocide.
This is asking too much of liberals.

What's really funny is that "Did not vote" has won basically every election in my lifetime. And yet when I decide I'm not voting for Kamala because I bit my tongue and voted for H-Dog and Joey the last two times and got screwed, its MY fault if Kopmala loses.

It's funny how they talk about tankies the same way fascists talk about their enemies as both weak and strong at the same time.
We are both an insignificant fringe that should be ignored and belittled and yet it's important we vote because we run the risk of upending the apple cart of lesser evil by not participating.
Are we actually that important? I don't think so. The reality is that our criticism makes them feel bad and they don't like that. But they don't want to admit that they don't have an adequate rebuttal to "genocide is bad."
