Why do people like that exist?
Economic Calvinism. People who are better deserve to make more money. How do we know who's better? The ones making all the money. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

There's an economic incentive for people like these to exist, plus, some people might genuinely believe the propaganda they are fed and make a song repeating those messages, without any compensation or chance of compensation. It's nice to reiterate what you believe.
