I have found soviet eastern front Yuri. Praying its actually good and not double genocide bullshit. Wish me luck

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 hour ago

doggirl-gloom It's just using the soviet union as a setting, it isn't pro communism. They have a little text blurb on like page 15 and they say the reason the Nazis made so much ground against the Soviets in the years before the turnaround was because of " Stalin's repressions". It then goes on to say that "Nazi Germany and Stalin's USSR were cruel and ruthless countries, and that's why the Great Patriotic War remains in memory as the greatest and most terrifying conflict in history."

???? Like your saying that the reason WW2 was so awful on the people is because the USSR was supposedly as bad as Nazi fucking Germany? Fucking batshit

catgirl-cry I just wanted communist Yuri and this is what the liberals give ms

negativity, dysphoria, transphobiaI hate feeling dysphoric. I hate how empty and flat my chest feels. I hate my genitals. I hate my voice. I hate all of the disgusting hair that covers my face and body. I hate crying and wanting to die every time I shower.

I hate cis people feeling entitled to have a say in our issues. In our care. The vast majority want to force us through the wrong puberty. Wouldn't be caught dead dating us. They see us as freaks and I hate it. They value cis comfort over any number of us.

I hate knowing my family will never see me as a woman.

I hate knowing I have to transition. To subject myself to so many forms of transphobia and misogyny. I don't want that. But I can't stand living as a man.

My life has been ruined. I don't know why I continue.

Today I experienced that awkward situation where people will start spouting transphobic opinions without knowing you're trans. Funnily enough, one of them was the guy I recently went on a date with😬 I almost want to tell him I'm trans just to fuck with him as he's very interested in meeting up again, but I'm just going to break it off and luckily I'll likely never see him again as he's a few semesters ahead of me and the course we are currently on together is basically finished😅

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

Why do people even feel the need? Especially if you aren’t a Fox News boomer uncle.
Like how is it even brought up??

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago) (2 children)

Yaa it's weird, the conversation was about height and then it turned to Thailand, I don't remember how😅

transphobiaBut of course the usual came up about how you can't know if a woman in Thailand is a woman🙄

Then the guy I went on a date with said that being trans couldn't be healthy because trans people have to take hormones and cut their dick off, and he was sure that trans people would at most live to 50 years of age🙄

And then they finished off by misgendering Elon Musk's trans daughter and saying that she fumbled the bag by disowning Elon🙄

I honestly don't know why it's something that gets brought up. Like trans visibility is generally quite low here in Denmark too, but bigots gonna be bigots I guess.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I’m so sorry you had to experience that. Like, even for a transphobe this was just really cruel. catgirl-cry

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 hour ago

Yaa it was kind of a weird situation to be in (especially since he kissed me twice during the break today lol), but it means I won't have to waste my time or out myself unnecessarily. I kind of see it as his loss, like we vibed together and he seems very interested, he even wanted to watch a movie together today.

And thank you❤️ Dating as a trans person truly is miserable😫

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 hour ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 hour ago

Yeah like on top of being a bigot, he is a moron too😫 The worst part is that we are both medical students😬

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 hours ago

transphobiaIt makes them feel happy when they can hurt us. And because most of the media and politicians are on their side, they are currently feeling very emboldened to take advantage of that and say transphobic shit as many times as they want, even in the middle of completely unrelated conversations. Because in the end, they know that there won’t be any consequences for them.

I had no idea people were DMing me on discord. I had no idea I had DMs from people other than my friends on discord. So many people have tried to hit on me only to whiff because I'm like Mr Magoo and literally didn't notice it lmao

Keep at it strangers online, I will continue to ignore you because it's way funnier if I never notice

privileged questionwhich countries should I be trying to nudge my family towards if shit ramps up untenably in the states. they're considering the UK primarily atm so I absolutely have to find a different avenue if we are to pack and abscond

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 hours ago

The Anglosphere is generally the best bet as they have the best gender affirming care. Europe is mostly shit, Spain, France and Germany seem to be the better countries here, but e.g. the surgical coverage in Europe is terrible compared to blue US states and some European countries are equivalent or probably even worse than some of the red US states in terms of trans rights and gender affirming care.

From what I've heard the UK is quite awful. Canada, Australia and New Zealand seem to be decent with Canada probably being the best of the three.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 13 hours ago

spoilerProbably wherever they might have a claim to citizenship.

New Zealand had a good program for skilled immigrants (all their young people move to Straya for work), so potentially you could move down there. And Canada is, like, right there across the border. You don't even need a passport if you're a permanent resident if the US or a US citizen. I dunno about moving outside the Anglosphere, but your money might go further anyway

Well, I wasted a fair number of syringes and a couple doses getting it right (I think I got it right...), but I completed my first intramuscular EV dose!

Thanks. Trying to eliminate the air bubbles was the annoying part. I've worked with injections before but didn't expect how viscous the carrier oil would be. The injection itself was pretty easy. No pain during the injection whatsoever. It's a bit sore right now, but pretty sure that just means that the needle reached the muscle properly?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 14 hours ago

Depends on where you put it. When I've given IM injections, the triceps is the standard and especially the one that has your dominant hand cause using your arm helps with the soreness. I've done thigh and butt, thigh is nice and big and walking probably helps. Butt is a nice easy spot without any major vessels for an emergency (also the easiest for smaller uncooperative kids).

IM are always thick and viscous, not sure why but every IM med I've ever given it's thick. Soreness means you put it in the right spot, if you want walk around a bit today and tomorrow. Usually they're sorer the day after than the same day.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

Want to post through the pain (not actual pain or mental pain don't worry I'm just using words wrong) but I'm realizing I jus kinda need to see a psychiatrist or some shit. Also get friends but that's even harder somehow

[–] [email protected] 12 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Secondhand enterprise IT equipment should be considered gender affirming medication covered by insurance

[–] [email protected] 6 points 14 hours ago

Well it does involve a rack so…

[–] [email protected] 9 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

Everyone talking about eyebrow threading is right. I got a men's eyebrow threading. Because I am a coward. And even this has drastically altered the way I look. Much more androgenus.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 14 hours ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 7 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

They use a sort of snare made out of thread to yank many hairs out at once. As opposed to plucking or waxing.

The advantage being you can sort of pluck by length instead of just location. So debulking as well as tidying up.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 14 hours ago

I did like getting my brows done, waxed or threaded whatever. It does do a surprising amount of work to feminize. Like with makeup

I've been a dog person my whole life. I was such a dog person that I'd let the outside dogs jump in through my bedroom window to sleep with me (my room was in the basement). I never actually got my own dog though, I never had the room or proper space. I've had a couple cats and an ex who is more or less a cat lol, I did like the cats but I miss doggies more

[–] [email protected] 5 points 12 hours ago

I am now picturing you as makima makima-think

Been getting into wearing jewellery in particular rings, as well as the history of queer symbology of certain rings. It’s funny that no one can really agree on any of it.

What I’ve gleamed is:

-Signet rings on left pinky were normal in the late and early 20th century for men. One on the right pinky might have suggested you were gay. But this is flimsy in evidence. For example Oscar Wilde has his on his left in all pictures as was the normal fashion,

-Signet rings however on women on any finger were a big sign of being a lesbian in the early to mid 20th century. Because it was a traditionally Mens ring.

-for a brief moment late 20th and early 21st century, civil union bands were worn on left middle fingers, but now with gay marriage everyone just uses the ring finger if married

-everyone thinks thumb rings are associated with lesbians but that’s largely vibes based
