Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has teamed up with Kid Rock in a bizarre video campaign promoting the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services' Make America Healthy Again, or MAHA, initiative.

The 72-year-old Health Secretary shared the video, titled Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock's Rock Out Work Out, on X with the caption, "I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD."

The video, which sparked suspicions of AI, shows RFK Jr. and the 55-year-old controversial Detroit rocker working out shirtless and drinking whole milk while soaking in a hot tub to his song Bawitdaba.

Get half-naked and sweaty with another dude?

Sounds like the Cons alright, if the Grindr outages have anything to say about that...

He might be ridiculed, but he's still not in prison and still holds his job. In spite of having no qualifications, no education, and no experience.

These idiots..

Is Kid Rock literally the only celebrity they have at this point?

The guy who played Superman in the 90s or whenever. The guy who played Hercules. The woman that got fired from the Mandalorian. I'm sure there are a handful more.

Have we all forgotten Kanye? He recently apologized for being crazy, but he'll be back to the old Kanye that we know and love, when he decides he's cured, and can stop taking his meds again.

Also, any actor who plays Jesus.

[-] cmbabul@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

You leave Wilhem Dafoe out of this!

[-] GraniteM@lemmy.world 3 points 14 hours ago

Surely they don't have Willem Dafoe!

[-] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 2 points 14 hours ago

That's old school 20th century Jesus, not modern MAGA Jesus.

[-] artifex@piefed.social 13 points 1 day ago

Good call, good call. How could I forget so many A-listers?

When you are too severe for Ted Nugent, you may have a problem MAGA.

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

I'm not sure how much more embarrassing this can all get.

Guess conservatives will show us.

[-] Jack_Burton@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 day ago

All I could picture reading that last paragraph was Mac and Charlie making a fight milk commercial.

[-] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

You were not put on this earth to “get it,” Mr. Burton.

RFK is in great shape.

But kid Rick looks like meth trash.

[-] DamienGramatacus@lemmy.world 5 points 9 hours ago

He's openly been taking roids and testosterone for years.

Something about it feels off, though. Like, he isn't healthy enough to be that cut and waxed and evenly tanned.

We may never find out, but while I do admit he looks like he's in great shape, my bullshit meter is flashing.

[-] Retail4068@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago

Knowing his proclivities he's almost certainly on T and a few other things. Granted some of them

Kid Rock is meth trash

When i think of fitness, i still remember Jack Lalanne and Richard Simmons. Now i can add Kid Rock to the hall of epic fitness nuts.

[-] daychilde@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago

Richard Simmons.

Y'know, I grew up making fun of him, but as I've gotten older, I've realized that homophobia isn't funny, and the more I read about him, the more I realize he was generally a pretty sweet and caring dude trying to help people. All the hate he got was really unjustified. Our society sucks sometimes.

[-] RattlerSix@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Same. I started to like him when he appeared on David Letterman a lot. He seemed genuine and funny. I learned more about him some years ago when he dropped out of public life. People were worried and thought he was being held hostage or died. It was very weird.

Turns out he was doing great and died in 2024, possibly while dressed as Barbara Striesand*. We should all be so lucky.

*(Wikipedia says he did a social media post with a photo dressed as Barbara Striesand and was found dead minutes later.)

[-] Widdershins@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Didn't Richard answer all his fan mail in an effort to remain helpful to his fans? Maybe not ALL the mail but he spent a significant amount of time answering those letters from his fans.
