Worth noting: rare breeds tend to be weaker, less adapted to their environment and disappear easily.

That's why they're rare.

[–] phx@lemmy.ca 46 points 2 months ago (1 children)

And old, "rare bread" grows stale and crusty

[–] tburkhol@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I like a rare steak, but I prefer that my bread be cooked all the way through.

[–] subignition@fedia.io 7 points 2 months ago

They'll be cooked alright

[–] formergijoe@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Ah, but these truly strong people are rare bread also known as dough.

[–] ameancow@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

If only there was something that could counteract this rarity-isolation. Some term to describe bringing together a lot of different people from different backgrounds or ethnicities or cultures, because if we have a lot of new ideas and options and we treat them as EQUALS and INCLUDE them in the processes and research then maybe we could be a lot stronger as a species, or even just as a family or business.

The dude sucks but before you attribute this tweet to him:

This is a "fan" account. His official Twitter account is @Kash_Patel.

It's telling of the fanbase but don't go around showing this to people like it's government communication or anything

[–] RamblingPanda@lemmynsfw.com 23 points 2 months ago (1 children)

But it's got a blue check mark, that has a meaning!

Thank you. It's also telling that we don't doubt this at all because of how looney US politics are now, but it is important to know what's true.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm not accusing OP of it but I don't want misinformation getting spread even if it's "generally" correct

[–] themaninblack@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Why is this post not moderated out? The title pretty clearly implies it’s Kash talking here.

[–] zipzoopaboop@lemmynsfw.com 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It was fucked that government communication would ever occur through Twitter in the first place

His mind is rare bread: doughy and moldable.

[–] wanderwisley@lemm.ee 44 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I work with people who are unvaccinated that say that their semen is worth a million dollars a oz now. So I tell them “go sell it then and be rich.” And they reply, “ I don’t want anyone having my dna.” These ppl are so stupid and stupid. Yes I said stupid twice.

[–] ameancow@lemmy.world 17 points 2 months ago

Tell him you have a friend interested in donating their own unvaccinated sperm and need a source or contact for making the deal. Tell him you're counting on him, puff him up on it, you can even pretend to "come around" and say you believe him now.

Don't let it go either. Every week pressure him to tell you who's buying semen because you have another friend/family member interested.

"Heh, I have the chance to totally never work again and all I have to do is jerk off a few times. But I'm not going to because I'm a hard worker. If you aren't putting in 60 hours a week you're weak."

[–] imvii@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

"I COULD retire off my super sperm, but I've got bootstraps that need pulling."

Blessed is the mind too small to doubt

[–] ATDA@lemmy.world 33 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Like 95% of COVID deaths are from the unvaccinated. They're a rare breed because they social darwin'd themselves. I get they love the uneducated but they should probably keep enough alive to agree with them...

Now they're rare, soon to be extinct. Poor bread.

[–] ExtremeDullard@lemmy.sdf.org 24 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Hmm, RFK Jr. looks a lot browner than I remember him from last week...

[–] DakRalter 10 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Does that mean he's toast?

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

You. I like you.

It is indeed a rare bread that can withstand such pressure! My common bread gets completely smooshed just by the groceries shifting on the way home.

[–] Fedizen@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago

Please cough on this man

[–] Alloi@lemmy.world 20 points 2 months ago

oh they will continue to get more and more rare as the years go by........

[–] frezik@midwest.social 18 points 2 months ago

Fascism has to keep finding a new scapegoat for society's problems. If left to run its course, this tends to mean the in-group keeps shrinking until it's so small that it can't support itself anymore.

The endgame of this brand of fascism might shrink itself down until it's just "the unvaccinated".

[–] Jozav@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Bread?

Bread is the sht you throw at ducks to get them to fck off.

Or does he mean rare breed: A nickname for one's friend at a multi-racial school, in which from the person's complexion, it is clear that there is some "cream in the coffee."

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (4 children)

Don't feed ducks or geese bread, it's very bad for them.

Maybe he wants to be sandwiches between two antivaxxers?

[–] tonytins@pawb.social 17 points 2 months ago (1 children)

This is reaching into Not the Onion territory.

[–] Chocrates@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

We live in a Not the Onion hellscape

Or fully cooked.

[–] HighFructoseLowStand@lemm.ee 8 points 2 months ago

One the bright side, the new Brownshirts will be dealing with constant outbreaks of preventable disease.

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 7 points 2 months ago

It's either cooked or it's not, Kash. There's no such thing as rare bread.

[–] Ioughttamow@fedia.io 7 points 2 months ago

Ps, my condolences for your deed kid

[–] RamblingPanda@lemmynsfw.com 6 points 2 months ago

I like my bread well done, thank you.

[–] DirkMcCallahan@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

Normally I'd be OK with the leopards eating their faces. But the problem is that these anti-vax fuckers are going to condemn ALL of us to a disease-ridden dystopian future if they fuck with our herd immunity.

[–] A_Very_Big_Fan@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Isn't this person in the government or something? (cba to Google)

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago

FBI director.

One of the best things about the unvaxxed is that they Darwin award themselves so future generations don't have to worry about them.

[–] cybervseas@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

I…what's the latest conspiracy theory about vaccines? I can't keep up. Why are they bad now?

[–] WrenFeathers@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

And getting more and more rare with each passing day.

[–] Ceruleum@lemmy.wtf 3 points 2 months ago

A half baked bread.
