so i changed my name legally like three years ago right? but i never updated it with my insurance or any of that due to mental health and neurodivergence reasons. so i've been dreading the day when i finally got hurt and had to go to the hospital. well, it happened a week ago. i fell off a ten foot bridge at the dead baby downhill afterparty and totally fucked up my ankle big time. like "in the hospital for two weeks needing three surgeries" levels of fucked

BUT thankfully everyone has been super friendly, especially the person at checkin who made sure the correct name was used for everything despite the name mismatch on my insurance. and for the most part people have been extremely friendly and accepting. even the two times i got misgendered (which is somewhat understandable because those were before a friend brought over my electric razor and so i had more facial hair than i ever normally let myself, like days upon days worth) the person who did it just swiftly corrected themself and moved on and still genuinely seemed to wanna make sure i was okay

so yeah this has been hell but still so much better than i expected. i had figured i would be getting deadnamed and misgendered constantly

but i am still suffering so hardcore, this is the most boring uncomfortable worst thing to ever happen to me by far.

okay hear me out. i know only two episodes have released. but it's already the best anime of all time. i literally could not stop laughing the entire time i was watching it. it is literally perfect. it doesn't glorify smoking like a lot of people assume it does, it's impossible to think that after you watch the first episode. like smoking is portrayed so negatively it's humorous. i love this anime. it's my new favorite. hell yeah
