No way they got that shit working on humans on the first try. Someone or several people died (or were permanently damaged) from it and they've covered it up.

or it's a misleading claim and they didn't implant whatever the "full" system is that has been killing monkeys

I'd assume it's the implantation process that kills, not whatever they're implanting.

What are the odds that the first "subjects" will be Musk jock riders, Financially desperate people, or Prisoners?

Don't forget terminal cancer patients. Wouldn't be suprised if thats the #1 group being recruited. PR can spin their deaths as inevitable and blame the cancer not the nueralink tumor they implanted.

The caveat being it'd be more cancer patients that are refusing any type of treatment. Gotta be healthy enough to have your brain cut apart but not filled with chemotherapy stuff or being nuked by radiation on the regular.

Steve Jobs would have been perfect for this.

death to Elon Musk and death to this unholy torture festival masquerading as research

Mark my words: Whatever they claim to have achieved now is already far less impressive than they tried to make it sound. Neuralink, like a lot of Elon's companies, are just built to hype for their stock prices.

Musk belongs in the bottom of a mine shaft.

I wouldn't be surprised if he set up labs in Occupied Palestine.

Elon fed them all to his pigs.

I'm reminded a little bit of "The Jaunt" by Stephen King.
