This has dangerous levels of Mormon beverage radiation

Mormons consider iced tea to be a forbidden "hot drink"

It is sort of spiritually Mormon though.

Soda is halal to Mormons despite having caffeine, curiously so is hot chocolate despite having caffeine and being literally a drink which is hot. Only tea and coffee, regardless of the temperature they are served at, are considered "hot drinks."

This is the reason for the Mormon invention of the dirty soda, which is a soda with typical coffee shop additives in it such as creamer and flavored syrups.

Interesting, I once worked with a Mormon guy who wouldn't drink coke and this was in mexico were everyone drinks coke all the time, or at least used too.

[-] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago

i think soda is more of a per-family thing than a church doctrine

Yum! brand has close tires to the church so naturally it supplies canon beverages.

Lmao I was just joking but I googled loaded teas mlm and of course it's a fucking thing. Maybe that explains the weird ingredients; it's just all the stock Tori is stuck trying sell off after some poor MLM investments.

“What if we did like a Non-alcoholic Long Island iced tea but made it fucking nasty”

[-] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 13 points 2 months ago

I mean lawn guy lin ice tea is already just combining 5 different liquors that do not go together so people who don't understand fractions think they're getting a stronger drink.

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 15 points 2 months ago

I agree with everything here except for "do not go together", when mixed right a long island tastes like a regular arnold palmer but still hits like a truck. For people who like tea+lemonade and getting trashed but don't enjoy the taste of liquor it is the ideal beverage.

[-] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 4 points 2 months ago

you could accomplish that with just vodka and the sweet drinks

[-] Amnesigenic@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 months ago

You can't fit as much vodka in the same drink without it tasting like vodka, the long island iced tea is remarkably deceptive

I can’t explain exactly what purpose vodka serves in there (because it’s tasteless aside from the alcohol), but they do go together

soviet-hmm i suspect the core is gin, triple sec and rum, because they are all very distinct flavors which compensate each other, but tequila also seems superfluous, especially white

[-] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago

The m&ms is the kick in the face.

[-] segfault11@hexbear.net 13 points 2 months ago

not just any m&ms, AI generated m&ms

[-] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 12 points 2 months ago

It tells us they were just doing random shit for the hell of it, and have heard of codine/hydrocodone syrup+vodka+skittles.

[-] Formerlyfarman@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago

*No chocolate used to make the product.

[-] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 24 points 2 months ago

Why the fuck would you add M&Ms to this

Every time I am filled with the godlike hubristic notion that I can do whatever I want to food I need to remember these people lest i become them

[-] take_five_moments@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago

[-] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 17 points 2 months ago

[-] 30_to_50_Feral_PAWGs@hexbear.net 19 points 2 months ago

Wtf is cola liftoff

[-] Weedian@hexbear.net 17 points 2 months ago

this is AI right? look at the m&ms

[-] The_hypnic_jerk@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago

Not just a drink.

A legacy in every sip.

[-] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 10 points 2 months ago

Oh absolutely

No way in hell is all that going to stay separated into layers either

[-] Commie_Chameleon@hexbear.net 9 points 2 months ago

I don’t think so, my ice normally morphs into gummies (next to the m&ms at the top of the drink)

[-] nasezero@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

The morphing gummies are actually just a visual distraction from the watermark. This promotion is all just an elaborate plan for Tori to sue everyone who will foolishly steal their painstakingly-created "loaded tea" prompt, and reverse the financial ruin they created for themselves and their family by launching a "loaded teas" small business in the first place.

I'm assuming he died because he was unvaxxed, Wikipedia just sez "his cough was 'substantial.' " Or maybe his body was trying to expel whatever this is.

[-] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Not just a drink. A legacy in every sip.

visible-disgust

[-] Chana@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

So is this like the most Mormon thing ever or what?

[-] dead@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Mormons aren't allowed to drink tea or coffee. That's the whole reason why Mormons are obsessed with sodas and "flavored waters".

Mormons mostly live on the West Coast, centering on Utah. Nascar is mostly on the East Coast and headquartered in North Carolina. The company that produced the image in the OP is located in Florida.
