Empathy for the aged. That felt like two weeks ago to them.
It still gets them very very mad if someone says it. No matter how arrogant and condescending their kicked-down-the-ladder-behind-them generational posturing gets, a single "ok boomer" can emotionally floor them to this day. 
The only way to avoid that is fumbling your Taylor.

Nope, published October 8th of this year. But being 4-5 years behind on the state of memes is pretty on brand for a boomer.
Ever hear a 50something say "based" out loud in response to something racist? It hurts.

It should make a comeback considering that that article was written two days ago. Clearly it worked against that particular age/class demographic crossover.
My favorite op-ed section is from the Guardian. Not because i give a shit about their opinions, but because they will have the most ghoulish headline and right next to it is a large picture of the author just staring at you
