there's a dude with a youtube channel who reminds me of internet 1.0 stuff like this.

he makes videos "demonstrating" his god-given abilities to reshape clouds using the power of his voice and belief.

dozens and dozens of videos. very chill vibes... just a guy shaping clouds by saying words strangely at a normal talking volume. easy to find. ive sent links to friends over the years, when i think they're "ready".

There was a whole series of websites that linked to each other for people who belived in psychokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc and they would share their secret techniques and when someone was skeptical and asked for proof, the response was something like "Try it yourself and be amazed, you will have your proof! just get a candle and make a psiwheel and try it! Everyone can do it". I also remember some wiccan websites with rituals and magic potions. The real magical part about all of it was how none of them were grifting.

Miss the internet. Had a GeoCities and a few envy.nu websites. If I remember correctly one was a website for my fifth/sixth grade artwork (scans with no Photoshop, eraser marks and all), one was a Serial Experiments Lain fansite, and a Weezer fan site lol

God this makes me cringe at my old geocities website that was more like a shrine to Nico Robin. I don’t know what 13 year old me was on.
