Is this site trying to become r/AskHistorians but for leftism?
One of the dunk tank mods actively hates the low effort posts and I assume was one of the main drivers of getting dunk/dredge shut down. The only conclusion I can draw is they want to slowly kill the site by making it less welcoming and drive down engagement. I try to read the multi paragraph comments sometimes but my ADHD causes my eyes to gloss over.
Why would you mod a community filled with content you hate? Just block it?

Because other people were enjoying it and naturally if you shut down the shit posting then everyone will start having involved discussions on the nature of dialectics.
