he has, but this has been considered dubious for the reasons i outlined.
with peace and love i don't think my amerikkkan ass has any right to suggest what any Iranian should or should not do, did or did not choose for themselves. however, i have to assume that they must have been aware of the risk. there is such a notion as duty that often transcends an individual's self-interest.
no, they actually had even stated that he would not be in hiding. he was martyred at home with his family. i think it makes sense too, i mean he was in his 80's and had spent his life looking forward to one day giving his life for the Islamic Republic, and this certainly sends a fundamentally stabilizing and unifying message to the people.
a play for iran's uranium stockpile.
ken klippenstein's stuff is usually good, but genuinely in what sense would this remotely be possible, in a logistical sense? isn't "iran's uranium stockpile" effectively literal tons of material to move that is also currently buried under bombed nuclear development facilities? last time i checked there's no such thing as SEAL team Concrete so... does anyone know what i'm missing here?
i love a good shibboleth and this definitely seems to qualify. folk punk rips. even when i'm so serious it's going to be the death of me.
the path that can be spoken of is not the true path.
the name that can be named is not the true name.
that which is without name is the beginning of all things.
that which has a name is the mother of everything.
that one pedophile song that kid rock did for osmosis jones is pretty bad. i think ted nugent also has one of those.
for overall grossness though, in terms of more mainstream music than 5Gautomaticselfsucc up there, i've gotta go with "courtesy of the red, white, and blue" - tobias keith. a genocide anthem for the 21st century.

(this is a joke answer that i have not thought about for more than 5 seconds)
we do not hate cops enough. the part of this about the pigs entrapping mostly special ed. kids and then describing it to the local news as busting a local drug ring operating out of area high schools was fucking sickening. it's good agitprop that they focused on one autistic kid who was entrapped into buying half a joint off an unhoused man. that's a particularly universal case to highlight for people's sympathies. the innocence of it combines well with its innocuousness; i've given a homeless man a joint before for free because he asked for one and i lived close by.
every single centrist lib that watches this will at least come away with the knowledge that the cops are preying on basic human empathy of vulnerable people, even white ones.

that's not a detail i'm familiar with.
