I will give men advice on how to be more attractive to women but i dont use that advice because i only like men lol. Not that im like the women whisperer i just find straight men to be... misguided i guess is the best word. They project their own wants onto women and dont consider hey maybe she doesnt want the same things you do in a partner.

While it is probably just that they werent counted yet can we atleast entertain the funniest outcome which is that after 4 years of yelling about how the election was stolen from him Trump actually stole the election, and hacked the voting machines or something? And a lot of the missing votes were fake? I just think it would be so funny I'd love to see how liberals reacted to that once its revealed. Like theyd probably just go "well shucks guess next time we wont let that happen".

Oh Lenin how i wish you were here with me now. With the Red Army at your back.

To fight for what is right is to understand that your enemy is not some incorporeal evil, but simply misguided fools commiting evil acts by chance. While we cant let our empathy make us weak; We also cant allow ourselves to be consumed by a hatred for the fools we fight.

Hey mods hope your days going well.

why you should be able to disregard this guy's blog post under the premise that he comes off as someone who's full of himself.

Have i got news for you. No one has to give a shit about any blogpost. You could make a blogpost outlining the exact way to correctly build a cold fusion reactor for 25$ and nobody would be obligated to give a fuck. Its your job to convince people to give a fuck about what your saying and usually being an asshole is not the best way to do that. Do some introspection.

Inflation is a mechanism in capitalist economies to move wealth from the poor to the rich. The rich own assets which hold their value while the poor habe their money in all currency. So as inflation increases the percentage of wealth held by capital owners increases. Liberals frame this as "encouraging growth and investment" since saving money is pointless and you have to invest it to increase its value to keep up with inflation. This is technically true too but its quite obvious to anyone with a brain that that benefits the capital class as the workers cant afford to invest anything significant anyway. Most of if not all of their money goes to survival and to invest in something that isnt easily liquidated at little cost is a big risk.

In short inflation is on purpose. Economies like Japans dont run on an inflationary model and while you may still see inflation happen in a not purposeful way it is a desired outcome in nations like the US.

The USSR was a socialist nation and so did not function at all like a capitalist one economically. In the USSR the economy was setup with the goal of providing for the people of the society. Prices were not dictated by market forces and were not set to make a profit off people. The basis of value in the Soviet society was grounded in reality rather than in nonsense.

For example. A loaf of bread.

Under capitalism it is priced by a company at the highest amount they can convince people to pay for it that doesnt also cause them to be unable to move most of their product.

Under socialism while it can vary depending on if you still allow for buying and selling of basic goods at all and dont just give them out. You have something more along the lines of Bread costs this much to make, add in all costs for maintaining and improving the equipment etc, and thats what the price is. You dont chase profit. The value of the bread makers labor is accounted for in the price and they receive the entirety of their excess labor value. There is no capitalist taking a profit.

The value of a socialist nations currency compared to a capitalist currency is tough to assert when it isnt backed by something like gold. The USSR simply set the rubles value. They didnt have it fluctuating constantly in a market. This was possible because the state backs the currency and garuntees it. There are many models of how to do currency tho and they arent really exclusive to an economic model. But in the USSR if you had 100 rubles and saved them for 10 years you could be generally sure that theyll be able to buy you a similar amount of stuff after that 10 years passes.

Prices can change due to change in raw material scarcity etc yes but those changes wont be as extreme and will be limited to specific items.

I mean its pretty simple. I dont trust software controls to control the cameras being on or off. So i cover them. Its a foolproof way to make sure your cameras are off basically. Id like to just not have the cameras but its basically impossible to find some types lf devices that dont have them. Like a phone for example.

Does the fact all cameras in my home have electrical tape or some other physical barrier on top of them answer your question?

because a tie would be hilarious

Next theyll be posting AI videos of Kim and Putin making out. I cant wait.

So this is something ive thought about a little bit and never really see it talked about much. Im curious to hear what others here think.

Basically the premise is this. We had the league of nations and that failed. Now we have the UN and while arguably more effective in some ways atleast its still pretty bad at reigning in rogue states like the US and Israel for example.

So thinking about the future how should we change the structure of something like the UN to make it more ideal for a world post-US Empire. Im also curious to hear if you all would even support an organization like this or if you prefer to allow nations to engage in diplomatic talks one on one and not have an international community butting in.

What level of control should a "UN" have, and what mechanisms should it have access to for putting pressure on member nations if any?

No more debates in these elections they suck. From now on the candidates all come up with a cool Halloween costume and everyone votes for whose costume was best on election day. Only rule is NO AMERICA THEMED COSTUMES. No lady liberty, uncle sam, etc. Thats just lame. i wanna see Trump dressed up in one of those dinosaur costumes the kids wear.

You silly poors might think that them being piloted remotely by literal humans is stupid, and pointless when the human could just use their own body. But what you fail to understand is that now we don't have to look at our servants, and can pretend that theyre robots, and not humans we have forced into a VR headset at gunpoint. I used to feel bad when my servants would cry about their cancer ridden child not being able to afford medical care, but now i just hit the mute button on my tesla bot! 30,000$ well spent!

I am sure everyone reading this is already aware of how AI hallucinates things on accident, and while that is a problem I've noticed something else thats actually worrying me a lot more. Basically i think that there are groups purposefully using AI to generate random information that doesnt exactly push any specific narrative like you might expect, but just confuses things in general. Like someone posted an article on another instance about AI wikipedia articles about fake events.

I know the Dead Internet Theory is a thing, but im starting to suspect that rather than just being an accidental thing, or a product of click farming there is a concerted effort to make it almost impossible to find reliable information on the internet. This would make sense from the perspective of the elitist status quo types as until the internet they had a really firm grasp on information. It was all controlled by universities, and media companies. I'm wondering if the goal is to make it back to a time like that. Where the general public is so confused and unable to access real information that they get easier to control. Making the internet useless for anything other than mindless entertainment.

I'm just preparing myself mentally for all the AI generated conspiracy theories people are gonna start believing.

Im kinda baffled. I use lutris for launching windows games in linux and for the longest time now its worked great. Well i was playing a game and it was working fine. i closed it went and did some other stuff for an hour or so and came back. When i went to launch it suddenly its throwing errors about needing umu to launch proton even tho proton worked just fine not an hour ago. I think ok ive had issues with flatpacks before. Let me uninstall the flatpack and get the system package. I do so and now proton doesnt even appear as an option in the configure menu. I googled around and i cant find any similar issue. The thing that really baffles me is it just seems to have stopped working for no reason. I didnt update anything, didnt change anything. The Lutris on my desktop still works perfectly fine too. Its just the one on my laptop doesnt want to use proton now? Anyone experienced this and know whats up? The umu thing it mentioned at first would need to be compiled from the github and i know thats not something Lutris normally needs since i have had it working without doing that and currently do on my desktop. I guess i could manually install it anyway but i worry itll just make things worse.

Edit: Its suddenly working again i have no idea why

I was wondering what places you all find have the most reliable info about current events? Any specific news sites that do a good job of actually reporting on stuff most places ignore? Mostly looking for written articles rather than videos.
