Not mentioning getting the men already in prison for cannabis charges out

Protecting cryptocurrency

Fuck, if they actually cared about the issues that predominantly affect black men, they'd do something about the Pigs or the Chuds

But they don't and they won't

thinkin-lenin Hmmm:

How Wall St. Is Subtly Shaping the Harris Economic Agenda

The vice president has repeatedly incorporated suggestions from business executives into her economic agenda.

...

Paul Grewal, the chief legal officer at Coinbase, a crypto exchange, said he had spoken several times with top aides to Ms. Harris. He, along with other crypto executives, sat down with Mr. Nelson, Ms. Harris’s confidant, on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

...

Mr. Cuban, for his part, sees Ms. Harris as a total break from Mr. Biden’s Democratic Party.

“She says she’s open to inputs from independents and Republicans, she means it. She truly is open minded. I’ve put some wild things in her direction that they don’t laugh at,” he said. “People are trying to say, ‘Here are the progressive and liberal principles that have always been the principles of the Democratic Party.’ Those are gone. It’s Kamala Harris’s party now.”

This sounds like a fantastic way to stir up resentment among white democrats while doing absolutely nothing for black men

[–] [email protected] 7 points 6 months ago

The bourgeoise intentionally stoking racial divides to divide the proletariat? Nah, couldn’t be.

The internet funny money proposal...

[–] [email protected] 43 points 6 months ago (2 children)

I won't dispute that the black community has some reasons to distrust banks, but it says a lot that the prescription for addressing systemic racism in banking is to regulate scam tokens

[–] [email protected] 29 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

I'm not even sure if this is a call for regulation or just a vague encouragement to put money in a highly volatile planet-burning dubious investment that arguably has a more white and pasty ruling class bigots dominating it. flashbang

excuse me sir but Spike Lee told me that the Digital Rebellion is Here!!

[–] [email protected] 24 points 6 months ago

Oh, takes me back to those crypto clowns that made accounts on Hexbear just to tell us all that we're ignorant and against the real revolution if we don't buy into the internet funny money.

The only way to beat Wall Street's casino is to buy chips in the new bazinga casino (also owned by Wall Street!).

How bout you expunge marijuana convictions for the hundreds of thousands of black men still in prison while white folks get to enjoy gentrification gummies

The Super PAC to support Democratic candidates who don't campaign good. contextphobic

[–] [email protected] 34 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Libs, often white ones, will literally read this kind of shit and use it as irrefutable "proof" that Kamala and the Dems give even two fucks about the marginalized. At the same time, they'll also call you "racist" and say that you don't understand the plight of underprivileged Americans if you don't vote for her, which would leave you to uphold all of the fascist bullshit that comes with said vote.

They have no ability to think beyond some vaguely "supportive" language in a tweet that actually is, like the title says, condescending when you examine it a bit more closely. Libs don't care about actual policy, tactics, or even ideology. They care about the aesthetic of the people they're voting for, but they support the exact same fascism as Republicans. They'll just be a lot more complacent under a blue-colored fascist than they would be under a red-colored fascist. top-cop

[–] [email protected] 23 points 6 months ago

Yeah this shit just comes off as stereotypes/tropes and paternalistic condescending bullshit like it seems to assume that black people are stupid therefore more likely to have fallen for crypto scams and then goes on not to address the inherent problems with crypto but to protect their investments in the scam. Whoever crafted this is a massive racist piece of shit.

to bolster support among haitian-americans, we promise to legalize cat eating

"Launch a national health initiative focused on the illnesses that disproportionately affect black men"

So they'll talk about sickle cell anemia a bit before refusing to do anything about it.

Lowkey hope he keeps doing that, it's such a Hillary Clinton 2016 non-starter type argument for so many people, guaranteed to cost Kamala the election

These reptilians really can't help but indulge in their worst instincts this election, they're so peeved that people are talking back to their ghoulish asses that they're throwing all political sense out the window

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago

It honestly looks like they're intentionally trying to torpedo their own chances. Who do they expect to convince with that rhetoric?

[–] [email protected] 29 points 6 months ago
  • “and others”
  • “support education” lipservice
  • encourage gambling while burning the planet
  • health awareness campaign but no healthcare
  • nothing stopping doing it now, a lie that will be repeated next election

$20k is barely rent for half a year in a small apartment. Let alone securing a building, or making a viable product or hiring employees.

Here's another springboard into unfathomable debt! jokermala

What weird American terminology is a "forgivable" loan? Is that a grant with extra steps? Or a recognition that no loan scheme works and they'll eventually have to give up chasing repayment on half of them?

[–] [email protected] 24 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

It's a closing cost on a 200k-$2M financing needed to actually start a buisness.

You know how people are gunshy about gov loans because the whole student debt can't be discharged in brankruptcy? Well now we're trying to sell START A BUISNESS to compete in a broken and senseless market and has a 90% chance of going bankrupt anyways. So the closing costs on the financing can be forgiven, twisted but not the other 90%

porky-happy Think of the vultures that will feast on the remains! Mark Cuban!

[–] [email protected] 19 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Does anyone have any insight on how this is being received by the target audience?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 6 months ago

Gonna find out in about 3 weeks.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 6 months ago

Why are they formating their policy suggestions to look like a computer bluescreen? I mean, it works for me, I think they are making bad policy decisions that really do indicate that this administration has encountered a critical error and will need to be shut down, but I didn't get to pick the design. And somehow I don't think that they chose this horrific visual design out of pure honesty.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 6 months ago

Lol kamala Harris really doing a "yall like to gamble and smoke weed right?". Incredible stuff.

Any "opportunity agenda for black men" that doesn't include reparations (with interest) is an insult

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 months ago (1 children)

$20,000 of reparations in the form of a PPP-style loan that can only be used by business owners to invest in crypto.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 6 months ago

bitcoin will not make everyone rich

[–] [email protected] 10 points 6 months ago

What kind of business can you actually start where the missing ingredient is a $20k loan and the idea isn't "buy bitcoins/stocks"? This seems like a grift to get taxpayers to fund dumping $20k x 1 million into the bottom of a diverse portfolio of pyramid schemes.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 6 months ago

The kind of disgustingly condescending racist garbage you'd expect from the Dems.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 6 months ago

I thought the 2024 election couldn't become more of a clown show after the Biden debate but somehow it keeps getting dumber.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 6 months ago

Protect cryptocurrency investments

I thought the point of crypto was the lack of regulation. If it gets the same protections as conventional securities, what is the point of crypto versus those securities???

[–] [email protected] 6 points 6 months ago

Nah it ain't you, this feels patronizing as fuck
