I find US Americans to be unreliable narrators when it comes to bready foods. They'll often shoehorn foods from different cultures into their narrow categories.

I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it or that I stopped it. It just breaks the immersion briefly and I'm reminded that I'm experiencing media made by people.

The "not fully" makes me happy

From the other comments I concluded that in the UK the gun stays at the police station. But even if an officer were to be allowed to take it home, in most developed countries it has to be stored in a safe. And the key must be unavailable for anyone other than the permit holder.

In this sci-fi film with Tom cruise's clones that are some kind of watchmen over the planet, there's a flashback scene. Tom cruise is reminded of his human life before the cloning because he sees an American gridiron football goal.
That scene immediately broke my immersion and I was like, yeah that's Hollywood, it's a film by Americans. I was no longer in the story.

The same happened to me with other forms of media. There's a song that would translate to "favourite person" and has a line "even the traffic jam on the A2 is quickly over when I'm with you". But I never use the A2. It's at the other end of the country. That made me stumble when I listened to it the first time.

Is it an advertisement? Looks more like a countdown to a world event.

No, they're parts of Spain that lay geographically in Africa. Meaning Spain is a transcontinental country.

Well equatorial Guinea has its location in the name. And for the others the way to remember is: Guinea as the true Guinea is obviously the bigger one and Guinea-Bissau has a qualifier to it, therefore it's smaller.

60% hydration.

Hi there, Are folding rulers common or are measuring tapes more widely used? And are folding rules even available in hardware stores?

Hej

Today I remembered vaguely a song I heard in 2018 on the radio in Norway and wanted to find it. But I was unsuccessful. Maybe you remember it.

It wasn't anything earth shattering or even that special, just a normal summer pop song. The female singer went by a normal firstname lastname combo.

The chorus started with "een komma to komma tre kom an!" Or maybe "kom igjen!" at the end. Something that follows the "komma" counting and is a motivating shout like "come on, let's go".

The song was in Norwegian.

That's all the clues I have, sorry

Edit: I found it! AI was of no help, but I went to a similar song and clicked through YouTube's recommended until on of the names rang a bell.

Cato sprinkled it in every time: "Furthermore I'm of the opinion, Carthago should be destroyed" until he got his third punic war.

Later, when Carthago was destroyed, the Romans poured salt over the ruins. It was a symbol that nothing shall grow on this soil again.

A brittle rock made of glitter. It breaks in this linear fashion and can be pound into sand by a mortar and pestle.

Anyone got any clues?

Edit: Thanks for all the answers. I found it in Romania and after searching for forums of minerals from Romania, I got a few other clues.

It isn't conclusive to me yet, but the possibilities are:

  • Pyrit
  • Mica
  • Schist
  • Nagyágit
  • Calaverit
  • Sylvanit

Of these, Mica and Sylvanit fit the best (imo).
