T is also stupid thick, but certainly Subcutaneous is the way to go. After I tapped a nerve doing IMβ¦.. π€’ so I ainβt ever going back
i hate needles and IM injections suck but you gotta do what you gotta do
i figured id throw out my experience as a cautionary tale so nobody around here makes the same mistake because if i had a job that required me to be on my feet all day and i did this in the morning it would have taken me out for that day for sure
I draw up with an 18g needle and swap to a 23g to inject, highly recommend that. Swapping the needle also makes it less painful because the needle tip gets a bit blunted going through the vial's stopper- just make sure you push the air out of the new needle tip before injecting (if you forget, it won't hurt as bad as if you did that in an intravenous injection, but it will be a bit unpleasant)
Don't worry, you didn't come off as aggro at all. Lmk if I'm giving too much unsolicited advice, for that matter.
Fwiw idk your financial situation but this is really cheap. I bought 100 needles of each size and 200 syringes for like $20 like a year ago, split them all with my gf, and I'm only just starting to run out. Juggling the three pieces was a pain at first but I can basically do it in my sleep now
you can use a lower gauge needle to draw up and then swap to 25
rip. Idk why I said that I don't even do it myself, just 23g for everything. Can't be bothered to buy (or pay for) a second kind of needle
