Beer batter onion rings are good. Guinness as the beer is bad.
God why do people like this beer? I heard only good things about it but it's bitter. And when I try to chug the leftover can I gaged!
I love me some bitter beer hmmm sounds delish
Guinness is only good on tap in Ireland and even then it's hit and miss and much better in certain pubs than others
So in order to get good guiness I have to fly to Ireland and perform Bayesian analysis on the pubs
i could tell you where to get a good one :3 i don't drink anymore but i must try the Guinness 0 I've heard it's good
I would love to see your reaction to an imperial ipa
IPA --> blegh
Fruit beer --->
Mango juice that fermented by accident from the summer heat --->
As a 4th gen Irish immigrant I think Guinness is vile.
As a descendant of the last universal common common ancestor, I concur
I dunno, I like it. Yeah bitter and all but I dont need or want every food to taste sweet and/or spicy and/or sour. It definitely was better in Dublin and best at St James Gate, not sure how or why. I assume cause its fresher out of a keg or whatever where they brew it and maybe the Dubliner pubs and restaurants baby their Guinness lines more than elsewhere
i think there is an art to pulling the pints even moreso than with regular beers and Guinness just seems very sensitive to how the keg is handled and set up etc. it's only good in Ireland but even here you can get a shit one depending on where you go
I like unsweetened cocoa so I'm fine with bitter foods. But a little bitterness. Not "surprise motherfucker! kicks you in the throat" kinda bitterness.
That makes sense. But I'm not sure if I'll be visiting Ireland to get beer for my onion rings
A small price to pay for good onion rings.
