Like, i just want to be able to do this! Why can I never do this well!? I cam do tightliner but thats like it i know makeup isnt in any way a deciding factor of womanhood but good lord i feel like such an abject failure as a woman when I cant even do fucking simple wings
It takes practice. Be gentle with yourself, we don't often get the grace afforded to those trying makeup at 6 or 13 or whatever even though it can be the first time. Give yourself time, if its messed up wipe it off try again.
Thats the thing, i used to be good (or at least decent) at liquid liner. But i just did tightliner for the last while and lost my hard earned skills! I went back to the mirror and made it work tho (but it took me 45 minutes lol)
It took me about a year of practice until i could get proper wings without having to stop halfway through and redo everything. The kind of eyeliner can also be really important, i couldn't get anything to work until i switched to a liquid one. Also, eye shape can make some techniques just plain unworkable. Took me a while until i figured out how to work around my hooded lids and that some styles just do not work for me and my eyes aren't even that hooded.
