Playing dark souls 2 again the only way I know how, killing everything until it stops respawning. No skill just patience, if the developers didn't want me to do this then it wouldn't be an option
You get into this rhythm of tackling each enemy learning their pattern and how the terrain works for their moveset not to mention figuring out how all the enemy placement works so it never really gets tiring I find
i do wonder why that mechanic never made it into any of the games after ds2, tbh. i relied on it a bit too when i first played the game
I've yet to play dark souls 3 but from what I see 3 was just harking back to 1, at least 2 was trying something new which I respect
totally 2 is the only one ive beaten
I am trying my best to beat it rn though my usual tactic is running me down. I've foolishly been only leveling my dex and str and got almost no health
now late game dlc is kicking my ass
