She's going to a nice farm up state. Lots of room to run around. She'll like it there.
Seriously, though, I know elder abuse and outright abandonment are huge, huge problems but there has to be some humane and dignified way of helping people die before they get to this state. I'm terrified of ending up in some state of permanent cognitive impairment where I'm too broken to function but still cognizant to realize what's happened to me. Like fuck Feinstein, but... like puppeting her around like this is so disgusting and depraved. That's a human being and they're using her as, I don't even know, a puppet? Just an object to be pushed around and ordered to make the right noises. God that's a horrific fate.
Like say what you will about capitalists, but a lot of the time there's nothing we could do to them that isn't worse than the things they do to themselves and each other.
I will never ever support that shit again after what we've seen Canada's program become. They've singlehandedly managed to completely destroy my support for people's right to kill themselves.
