Question for people who have finished laser or have done it for awhile. The laser people said to not shave a day before an appointment, but I’m three sessions in and shaved 24 hours ago and there isn’t a ton of growth.
There is definitely some, I can feel it, but it’s markedly less.
Would it be advisable to potentially not shave two days before, or would that mess things up some how?

Edit: or I guess I should say they say to shave 24 hours before the appointment, but then not shave until after if that makes sense.

my understanding is be shaved as much as possible before the appointment, as the extra length can cause it to burn your skin.

I shave literally like.. the morning of or night before my laser sessions. Idk why they say that tbh

The "don't shave before" thing is kinda a myth? As long as you have active follicles the laser is going to do its job, you still should be careful about shaving just before treatment because having irritated skin will make the laserpain worse. That being said I've come in unshaved to make addressing problem spots a little easier.

That's odd. I was always told to shave as soon as I can before the appointment, often shaving right before I go there.
