It is not the resistance's responsibility to preserve the canine shields the IDF hides behind.
One of the Ledditors called it "innocent". I love dogs. Most dogs are innocent. Police/Military dogs are abused to the point where they are incredibly violent.
There are probably IOF stormtroopers out there who are "innocent" and haven't done any violence yet. That doesn't make them any less legitimate targets for the resistance.
Being innocent or not has nothing to do with war. It is not a judicial process. You neutralise enemy combattants without investigating their individual motivations and actions first.
