Leave it to liberals to accuse a website full of queer socialists of being fascist, just because they don't agree with your state department approved talking points. 🤡

    Break the left's solidarity

This is one of the only places I've seen where MLs and Anarchists get along

"The left's solidarity" in this user's mind means liberals, not actual leftists.

Whoa, user DjangoFett thinks we are fascists after a public crashout where they not only called us Nazis for generally supporting China (because they think they are totally immune to propaganda unlike us because we don't just believe that China randomly persecutes religious minorities because the Western media tells us), but also were generally rude and completely full of themselves?

Color me shocked. They wouldn't know a fascist if one pissed on their shoes, as long as the Western media told them is was a little old nationalist freedom fighter.

If they did, they'd be thanking them for their service before then going "but all sides bad though, so I'm not biased."

Fascism is when they call me a racist, sexist, homophobe or transphobe. Or tell me that voting for a war criminal means you're supporting a war criminal.

When I first joined Lemmy I saw the warnings and I thought to myself, "man those guys must be jerks I better watch out for them!"

Turns out those guys were dumb and you guys are awesome!

They really are setting themselves up for failure long term because the more lurid and sensational their stories about us get, the more they fall apart when you observe one of us being boring and normal for 5 minutes

You'd think that, but unfortunately if making up absurdly ridiculous and insultingly stupid stories about the communists didn't work, people wouldn't fall for the nonsense about China or the DPRK, or the USSR or any socialist country. Anti-communism relies on people being trained to actively reject what their eyes and ears tell them and just believe made up stories instead, completely detached from reality, because that makes it much harder to reach them and educate them.

"coming across strongly" isn't even a bad thing, this guy just associates it with fascism. Yeah, I want us to be strong, I don't want the bourgeoisie seeing the people as a bunch of weak pushovers they can exploit to death, they should be intimidated by our numbers should we throw off our chains. Only liberals would believe that weakening your polticial movement is somehow to your benefit

"rent-free" seems a bit inappropriate when there's double digits of people in here talking about some random guy saying "I don't like Hexbear" with less than two dozen upvotes on an instance i don't even think we're federated with

Their idea of "the left's solidarity" is feigning reluctance while just voting for genocidaires and doing nothing else. We get in the way of that slightly so we must be fascists.
