You'd think that, but unfortunately if making up absurdly ridiculous and insultingly stupid stories about the communists didn't work, people wouldn't fall for the nonsense about China or the DPRK, or the USSR or any socialist country. Anti-communism relies on people being trained to actively reject what their eyes and ears tell them and just believe made up stories instead, completely detached from reality, because that makes it much harder to reach them and educate them.
