This kind of brainworms has a long lineage if you think about it, from saying that pikachu was satanic, to wanting to violently kill Barney. I wonder if they thought Fred Rogers was a communist or something?

it's times like this, that it dawns on me the kind of comedy i found in political satire isn't actually funny. there's no writer anywhere that can make a more obvious farce out of conservative mass media than this, yet here we are. i'm not laughing. being a character in these stories isn't funny at all now that there are humanoids this soulless and detached from any sense of decency out there pulling the strings of society.

Which is my brand of left radicalism too... I do love a good Soviet Bear bit that involves a bear hug. But, uh, yeah. There's no such thing as "too radical" on the viewpoint of "let's not kill children or let others kill children".
