Had a horrible one the last couple of days. I have gotten more migraines this year than any previous year that I can remember.

Hoping to see some big lore shakeups in 11th. Maybe this’ll be a precursor to something with the Corpse Emperor. Unlikely but a girl can dream.

It couldn't hurt. I left for similar reasons. The incident in question caused a very severe, negative mental state and I just had to stay away for a long time. I think I'm better?

I remember sharing a few ideas a long time ago but I can't possibly remember what they were. I think it was more involving admin/user trust or whatever.

I just returned after a year and a half hiatus. It's much slower than it was then. There are about 300-400 users/day less than back then. I couldn't possibly tell you why it's like it is, but it is. Because of the lower amount of conversation, I don't see myself just hanging around on here for more than a few minutes like I used to.

We're almost certainly in the twilight of personal computing at this point. The AI bubble was simply the catalyst of its downfall. Once it pops, all of that datacenter buildout is likely to be used for something rather than scrapped, and that something is cloud computing. Gaming and compute heavy workloads will likely be offloaded to the cloud where we're going to end up paying some form of subscription to use it for any reason or purpose. Home PCs will end up being nothing more than thin clients.

If the personal computer market somehow survives, it's going to look very different 5-10 years from now.

Oh yeah. It's been a hot minute since I used KDE. Been using GNOME 3 for the last 4 or so years.

I believe Dolphin is named Dolphin since it was the codename for the Gamecube.

There are also a bunch of really boring named programs out there. e.g. Gnome Text Editor.
