it's times like this, that it dawns on me the kind of comedy i found in political satire isn't actually funny. there's no writer anywhere that can make a more obvious farce out of conservative mass media than this, yet here we are. i'm not laughing. being a character in these stories isn't funny at all now that there are humanoids this soulless and detached from any sense of decency out there pulling the strings of society.
