Why do this? She knows exactly what she posted that got people mad at her, and there were hundreds of people in the replies at the time explaining exactly what about the post got them mad.

I honestly think she's just addicted to drama and attention.

Imma be real, that ain't the only thing she's obviously addicted to.

Her admitted opium addiction is not something we should mock. Addiction is a serious issue. The fact that she started doing it because she likes the aesthetics of an opium den is a bit funny, but being an addict is a disease and not funny.

I was implying alcoholism, and we can talk about how addictions effect judgment and behavior. That's one of the defining things about drug/alcohol addictions.

That would still be an addiction, still be serious, and still not be worth mocking.

If you feel so strongly about it, take this post down and never make fun of her again.

Mocking someone for having a bad take and mocking them for their disease are not the same

No they're not. She's not a weird centrist lib who thinks genocide is about her because she drinks, and she doesn't drink because her politics are bad. People have bad takes without being alcoholics.

There are strong indications that she's drunk every time she tweets, and that effects the self-centeredness, lack of ability to see how she looks, lack of inhibition and emotionalism of her tweets, and those are things you're making fun of and inviting us to make fun of. You're not just mocking her bad politics, you're mocking the way she expresses them. If you were purely mocking someone's bad politics, you wouldn't go after contrapoints, you'd post the thousands of articles and opinion pieces in major publications denying the genocide in Gaza.

Rage/engagement bait. Only way for her to have any relevance anymore is to post ridiculous shit like this to stir up engagement.

or to put out video content more than once per year (you know, the way she got famous originally), but she refuses to do that because that would be work and she's on her coasting girlboss passive-income phase

Like look at this, 5 videos in 4 years. Entire 200 million dollar full length studio movies are made quicker than her talking into a camera with bi lighting. Why does someone this lazy feel so entitled to the limelight? She's also getting 1/3 to 1/4 of the views that she used to, probably because her original fans and subscribers have died of old age.

Egotistical people have a way of completely failing to absorb information about the thought processes and motives of others even when explicitly explained. I knew just such a person once and we would regularly have conversations that went along the following lines:

Him: "Why do you think/do A?"
    Me: "For reasons X, Y, and Z."
Him: "Okay, but why do you think/do A?"

I think it's ironic and an excuse to do "art hoe" shit. I don't think she actually liked Lindsey Graham.

Like she's still a ghoul, but this is just an attempt to be an edgy lib.

Fun fact, Anna Kachiyan's dad (Leonid Kachiyan) is famous in my specific field of study. So when I heard her name I was like "is she related to the Ellipsoid Method Kachiyan?!" and when the answer was "yes" I was a bit disappointed, and then told my supervisor who was also a bit disappointed

It's just not that different from 4cham edgyness or whatever. All those jokes are ironic. Everything I do in public that seems to support Israel is making you mad??? Ha gotcha I'm being ironic. Of course I don't support Israel. Just everything I do in public indicates I do. But it's like ironic.

As the saying goes the point of a system is what it does but applied personally. If everything you do supports one side you saying it's ironic is actually not relevant.

She's as pathetic as 4chan types

It's my sincere opinion that this is just meaningless attention-seeking by a person who everyone here already hates and nearly no one even talks to a sincere fan of, so there's no actual point in posting this except to recreational get mad at someone who is basically irrelevant because they can only preach to the choir. What other use is there? It's not even interesting because it's just the same disingenuous bullshit she always does.

She believes that the Dems will protect her, but she wants to look progressive to get money, so she will say literally anything to serve those two purposes. Every single thing that she has said for years falls into this category outside of even-more-meaningless ragebait about how opium addiction is so much more romantic than alcoholism or whatever the fuck.

Invoking Gamergate is always such a flashbang to any discussion.

I genuinely do not understand this behaviour or why it is so commonplace. Like, just ignoring people calling you out doesn't mean they have "no argument" it's like failure to understand object permanence but for discussion, if they plug their ears and go "lalalalala" then there are no arguments against their position because they personally refuse to listen.

I could understand someone doing this to protect their own ego maybe, but to then try and act like they're the "clever intellectual" who no one can possibly defeat in a battle of wits inconceivable by just ignoring any arguments against their position, presumably thinking it makes them look smart or something, but it's genuinely the dumbest behaviour I can think of. Wilful ignorance makes you look stupider than anything else, but so many people do it, and brag about it even, thinking refusing to listen or learn makes them smart or something.

Look, I don't think she's a "Genocide loving Zionist", I think she genuinely thinks what's happening is bad.

But her response, which essentially amounted to nihilistic resignation and a perceived inability to do anything about it, means she's giving tacit support by trying to remain neutral on a moving train.

She bemoaned the supposed impossibility of making a video essay on the topic, but such a thing feels incredibly straightforward to me. She could easily have leaned into that feeling of nihilistic resignation, and explored it. What do we do, when met with horrors that are genuinely difficult to comprehend? Idk talk about Camus or some shit! Explore those feelings! Have some curiosity about them!

But she won't do that, because she's penned in by her liberal politics, petty bourgeois patreon class position, and persecution complex surrounding the fact that she just can't log the fuck off of twitter
