Boudin, Chesa: The former District Attorney of San Francisco and son of Weather Underground member Kathy Boudin.

changingFrequencies: A Black Queer Feminist-led abolitionist project aiming to disrupt waht it calls the “Medical Industrial Complex”.

Claudia Jones School: A Washington, D.C.-based organizing collective that conducts popular education and pro-Cuba lobbying.

Code Pink: Women for Peace: A left-wing protest group that describes itself as anti-war and organizes solidarity delegations to Cuba.

Cohen, Ben: The co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s who attended the wedding of Neville Roy Singham and Jodie Evans.

de la Cruz, Claudia: The co-founder of the People’s Forum, IFCO executive director, and 2024 presidential candidate for the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

De Los Santos, Manolo: The co-founder and head of the People’s Forum who the report says maintains deep relationships with Cuban regime elites.

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA): A major socialist political organization that formally advocates for the Cuban regime and organizes official delegations to the island.

Ensler, Eve (V): A prominent playwright who attended the wedding of Neville Roy Singham and Jodie Evans.

Equality for Flatbush: A Brooklyn-based Black Lives Matter abolitionist group fighting gentrification, police, and ICE.

Evans, Jodie: The co-founder of Code Pink who married billionaire Neville Roy Singham and heavily praises anti-American foreign states.

I searched for 'George Floyd' in the 100 page document and it appears 4 or 5 times. The document alleges that Cuba promoted the protests that occurred in response to George Floyd's murder. The implication being that protests were motivated by Cuba, rather than the injustice of police brutality.

All of this came on the heels of the Cuban regime’s gleeful support of the George Floyd uprisings. As protests and riots swept American cities in the summer of 2020, Cuban state media and officials issued daily commentary portraying the United States as a systemically racist country morally unfit to criticize Cuba’s human-rights record. Cuban President Miguel Díaz- Canel denounced America’s “practically uncontrolled expressions of hatred, racism, police brutality” in a September 2020 speech at the UN General Assembly. At the same time, the Cuban regime was violently repressing and imprisoning Afro-Cuban dissident artists and others who had criticized police killings of Afro-Cubans, and protested for artistic freedom inside Cuba.

It mentions Mamdani 1 time in the document. It says he refused to denounce DSA for supporting Assata Shakur. Though today in the news, the Trump admin is feuding with Mamdani because Mamdani told NYTimes that he's consulting lawyers to whether he can arrest Netanyahu during his planned visit to NYC in September. Trump put out a tweet around 4 hours ago saying that Netanyahu isn't allowed to be arrested in the US.

I copied and pasted the list from the Ken Klippenstein article. Those were the names that he found in the article which he says that document says supports Cuba. He also wrote that there's 3 whole pages dedicated to DSA. You have to read the article or read the 100 page document for more specific details.

They are trying to justify sicking ICE on political dissidents instead of just immigrants. Notice all the specific mentions of being against ICE. I suppose they can dig up George's corpse and arrest him again. The point being his death rallied people against the pigs and lost even republican votes. Brand everyone you don't like a terrorist or felon then strip their votes away. Brand them a certain label and now you get to debank them.

I presume intimidation and/or sanctions. Though adding sitting Democrat soc-dem mayor is a funny bit so I'm not sure how serious this is as a document for anything but politicking. If they were seriously going to go after and sanction people as extensions of the foreign agents/anti-terror type sanctions they can slap on anybody and anything I think they'd leave out prominent Democrats and people like Goodman as impractical and just go after the out of office activists and use it to make twitch deplatform Hasan.

REPORT | State Department casts US peace activists as tools of Havana in report critics call ‘McCarthyite’

A new 99-page State Department report on Cuba is drawing accusations of McCarthyism from peace groups and civil liberties advocates for naming private American citizens, including a member of Congress’s daughter, over their opposition to U.S. policy.

The report, titled “Cuba: The Capital of 21st Century Communism,” casts the island as a decades-long covert threat that has “infiltrated the highest reaches of the U.S. government” and “cultivated generations of American activists.” In a section on “revolutionary tourism,” it names streamer Hasan Piker (@hasanthehun), Amazon Labor Union founder Christian Smalls, the Democratic Socialists of America, former UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and Isra Hirsi, a campus activist and the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar, over their participation in a March 2026 aid convoy to Cuba. It goes on to note that Hirsi was suspended from Barnard in 2024 for organizing Gaza solidarity encampments.

“Why is the State Department naming American citizens in their Cuba report where they seemingly complain about our opinions on US sanctions policy?” Piker wrote. “This is absolutely protected by the 1st Amendment. They are trying to chill speech through intimidation.”

@MedeaBenjamin of @codepink, whose group is also named, called the report “McCarthyism, plain and simple.” She told Drop Site that CODEPINK is now under Treasury Department investigation for bringing medical supplies to Cuban children’s hospitals. “The people delivering medicine are under investigation, not the officials enforcing policies that deprive Cubans of medicine, food, fuel, and electricity,” she said.

The group Cuban Americans for Cuba called the report “an act of instigation and warmongering,” saying it “reads like a document assembled to confirm a predetermined conclusion.” It said the blockade the report exists to justify has left Cuba with shortages of medicine, a healthcare system starved of supplies, and a collapsing power grid. “Cuba poses no threat to the American people,” the group said.

The report makes no mention of the U.S. energy embargo imposed in January, which the groups note has caused nationwide blackouts and devastating collective punishment across the island.

This month, 136 countries at the UN voted to condemn the suffocating economic sanctions on Cuba, with the U.S. and Israel among the handful opposed.
