I remember being part of a chapo discord that sucked tbh. Luckily someone posted about chapo.chat as an alternative to the sub. I was never super active in the sub. I didn't even listen to the pod until about a year before covid. I'm glad I found this site.

Can't wait to check on the health and well-being of my favorite secretary of state, Henry Kissinger.

You know why more men die in war? Other men. Men made the rules that women can't do anything physical. Men run the countries that enter into war. Yes women (ie Thatcher) can enter into war too but my point is that all these things that feminists supposedly deny is caused by other men. Trying to equate feminism as a force for toxic gender politics at the same level as the toxic society men created and maintained for hundreds of years is pretty disingenuous.

This whole thing comes off like a chud trying to be neutral as possibly by admitting that men can be a little rambunctious but we need to seriously talk about this tumblr screenshot I found of some caricature of a feminist saying all men need to be castrated. Because that kind of toxicity is the same as women not being allowed to ride a train because their uterus might fall out.

And there's a fundamental economic component to "left-winger" that you can't leave out. Telling people that being a left winger means you do both sides shit in culture war debates is wrong and hurts online leftism more than open a door for pipeline purposes.

Disney has been in bed with the military since WW2. Part of the reason Captain Marvel was even made is because they did a huge ad campaign for the Air Force and the DoD lent them locations to shoot. Iron Man was still under Paramount when it was made and released. By Iron Man 2 he goes completely Libertarian and literally says "I'm tired of the liberal agenda" in regards to philanthropy and stuff. It's also about the Air Force getting a badass Iron Man suit which is actually more responsible because Tony was being a dick and a drunk. A military officer stole his suit and they never confront that ever again in the series. Other than some throwaway line about how if Tony didn't actually want Rhodes to have it, he would have set a different password. Which actually doesn't help their image as much as they think. Blaming the individual for not protecting themselves against eminent domain is pretty cringe.

Winter Soldier doesn't ever criticize the military with the Hydra thing. All the CIA people stand up for Cap while the evil Hydra mercs hold them hostage. Project Insight is revealed to be a Hydra plot and not the kind of status quo mass surveillance and drone warfare that everyone in government is fine with. Cap's line about how "This isn't security, it's fear" or whatever falls flat in the face of that.

The Marvel movies can sometimes give the illusion of a greater commentary, but it's just a writing sleight of hand. It never actually challenges anyone's beliefs or makes a real statement other than military good.

That being said I don't dislike the Marvel movies like a lot of other leftists. They're hit and miss but there are some good ones.

They cover a wide range of topics from beginning chaos magic to folk magic to how hate groups infiltrate and co-opt occultism. One of the hosts is also a communist.

  1. MAGA/Q movement

  2. Joe Rogan-esque reactionaries who have a softer stance on "hippie" things

  3. Younger people are forced to live with their parents longer because capitalism

  4. Prison system sucks and feeds people slop

Weird to see how all these things converge in a person.

I'm building a portfolio so I can try to get a job doing environment art. I have a little bit of an idea how the art-end of game dev works. However I can't help but to think about what games I would make if I was a project director or lead designer. What are your game ideas? They can be as unrealistic or realistic as you like. Big or small.

Mine:

I want to do an immersive sim with retro graphics and homage Deus Ex, Systemshock, and even VTMB (in terms of atmosphere). A grungy cyberpunk game where it's night all the time. I want to bring in TrueAnon type conspiracy stuff to replace the more reactionary elements of DE. Large semi-open world environments set in various locations. The PNW or NoCal for rural forested areas inhabited by militias. Suburban areas with a retrofuturistic 90s vibe. Large high-tech dirty cities. The good gameplay qualites of Deus Ex but updated and with QoL improvements. Though I would probably get rid of the squeenix quest marker and hand-holdy stuff. Make the player have to talk to NPCs and look around to figure things out. I would keep the graphical fidelity comparable, but ramp up the size and amount of stuff in the game. Environments would be full of vignettes and minigames. Make it so that not playing the story is rewarding and fulfilling too.

Another one is a spiritual sequel to San Andreas. Set it in CA, NV, OR, and WA. Set in the mid 90s instead of early 90s. A single open-world. Absolute tons of mini games and side-shit to do. Bring in skateboarding and the real BMX gameplay that never made it into SA. Improve the gang recruitment and territory system. Create real factions between the police, gangs, and feds. Increase dating mechanics. Tons of weapons. More B&E mini-games. Drug selling sim that you can actually scale up and make a business out of. Probably simulate some kind of economy in the game. Deep character customization. Tons of vehicles. Heists. Casinos. Casino management. Street racing. Car customization. Improved tagging. Just tons of content. Again, I would keep the graphics roughly the same, just include more stuff.

I need a city sim/logistics sim game but set in world with a centrally planned economy. The city sim stuff would focus on urbanization and good city planning. The logistics stuff would supplement that and lend restrictions to what you can or can't do. Like cash would in a traditional city sim. Not only would you be responsible for your sims and their city, but you need to create and operate supply lines as well. Like a mix of Factorio, Skylines, and Railway Empire. I have more specific ideas on how this would work, but I've already wrote enough for one post.

Even in the US colonies, it was mushroom ketchup. I don't think tomato ketchup became a thing until the 1800s.

It is actually a cool and okay thing to wish death on certain people.

Trump lived a life of luxury you or anyone you know will never experience. His life has been tremendously easy. He fell backwards into unimaginable wealth and power simply because he was born to the right family. He has already lived a life longer than 3/4 of my grandparents. Even if he died choking on fluids right now, his life was still more comfortable than you or your kids lives will ever be. There is zero (0) reason to feel bad over people wishing him death, unless you really think God would strike someone else down for your personal callousness. In that case, why not celebrate?

Remember when some libs were like "if RBG's seat is filled, we riot"? Remember when some people on chapo.chat.com were like "Wow if this radicalizes libs, I'll take it." This is why you can never put faith in libs. There will always be some who cannot radicalize. The minute they lose they just default to "well there's nothing we can do without violating the peace and norms of our society so all we can do is be respectful of the Nazis". Libs cannot be allowed to have any kind of say in what the leftist project does. Definitely don't let them into any position of power. They will do this shit and crash the whole thing.

Radicalize who you can but don't get too caught up on hoping libs will radicalize.

It's really the same thing you see with Kamala and Hillary. It's the extreme conclusion to the idea that these members of government represent you. It's that they don't just represent you, they are you. So libs develop this strong imprint on these people. They don't care about what the person has done because that has nothing to do with why they're so liked.

She was one of the sacred judges on the Supreme court. She probably did face some sexism and shit with becoming a Justice. Overall she was just a liberal judge who sided with conservatives too much. She had two kinds of cancer in 2009 when Democrats could have replaced her on the court (she was 81 at the time). Instead she insisted on staying and Democrats didn't do anything. Then they all expected Hillary to get in 2016 and replace her with another YASS QUEEN. Except Trump won. RBG has been dying off an on since. Now she's actually dead and Republicans are going to just put a young fascist ghoul on the court which will make it easier for them to jam through their agenda, even under a democrat. SC appointments are for life.
