This is probably more performative nonsense and won't really change what's already happening, but it makes me irrationally angry. The bastards want to kill us for having the gall to complain about them killing us. The planet's gonna cook and the vulnerable will suffer and they'll keep the fires going until someone finally stops them, all in the name of protecting an imagined feeling of superiority. One hopes that there are future historians and they'll look back on this time as a profound dark age but I haven't been optimistic about that in a while.

If there's one thing I can count on these twitching, slavering fascists to do, it's overplay their hand too early and piss off tons of people who might otherwise not have cared. A Kamala or Biden 2 regime would have just adopted some boring and convoluted technocratic framework for doing the same thing in a way that was hard to notice and harder to follow, continuing the salami tactics.
