Why yes Piers Morgan i can imagine cheering for the death of someone just for having opinions i don't like, does that make you nervous

Pronouns was/were.

How could he say something so terrible? Was/were are clearly verbs.

But in all seriousness, if this is hateful speech, then I guess all the transphobes that started using this joke years ago on Twitter are also mocking people's deaths.

The was/were thing directed at victims the right despises is such hateful claptrap and as you point out it's been around for years, you better believe I was making that joke to myself about Charlie.

I listened to these guys after their last based comments. Good stuff but not really my thing.

They're going to force themselves into being my favourite band just from being based, aren't they?

[-] [email protected] 6 points 5 days ago

They did a good collaboration with Amy Taylor of Amyl and the Sniffers, all the punk bands are vibing with each other right now

It's hard to see when you've been wrapped in its spell

Where it tries to break what doesn't fit or leave it trapped in a cell (I've seen it)

Look at the beast, it wants me gone, I can tell

I've thought about it, but for now I'd rather stay and give them hell

Based, but let's talk music - which album of theirs should I start with? I put on a few tracks from their newest and it didnt really grab me as much as I was hoping.

Price of Life is my jam. Front to back over and over again. It's the "this is my hole" meme, for me.

[-] [email protected] 11 points 6 days ago

Will give it a go, thanks!

Welcome, hope you like it!

Humble as the sun is great, too. Especially if you like jungle/drum and bass

after "death death to the idf" i just went in order. i think there's a couple sequels or continuations of ideas you might miss if you go out of order. liked most of the songs, definitely a higher like to meh rate than most acts.

Their music is so good. The lyrics are brilliant and the energy is fire. They remind me a lot of Bad Brains. And all the bands Bad Brains influenced, so there's a lot that's reminiscent of Rage Against the Machine and even Nirvana. Of course they're still utterly unique, I just like to draw connections
