Mike Johnson believes he can force Jesus to return by nuking the Middle East, and reporters should be demanding he answer questions about it.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

What an arrogant prick. God should smite his sorry ass.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Jesus should return and bitch slap him with the power of Christ.

"Calling things unconstitutional" is the new "calling things woke".

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

That's such an unconstitutional thing to say!

[-] [email protected] 56 points 3 days ago

Mike Johnson is fucking spooky. I've been saying this for a few years now, when his Covenant Eyes usage made news.

He is a true believer, he's on a mission from god. He's smart. He will not care about the people crushed by the machine, as that is the fruit of their depravity in his worldview.

Watch this motherfucker. Trump and Vance are motivated by greed and power. You need to look to fundamentalist Islamic leaders for a similar mindset to Johnson.

I would think Netanyahu is closer to the greed and corruption model. He needs the war to keep his slimy ass out of jail.

lol. a REPUBLICAN saying what's unconstitutional??

[-] [email protected] 47 points 3 days ago

Hey everyone the Constitution is unconstitutional!

-MAGA Mike

[-] [email protected] 24 points 3 days ago

That tracks. They treat the Constitution the same way they treat the Bible. What is written there doesn’t matter. It’s not a thing that actually exists but a concept, and that concept “says” whatever they want it to say.

Party of small government everybody. If they didn't have double standards and lies, they wouldn't have any standards or things to talk about.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

Getting rid of congress would make the government smaller

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

yeah! just one guy - can’t get smaller than that! /s

[-] [email protected] 180 points 3 days ago

Our Constitution is unconstitutional!

[-] [email protected] 74 points 3 days ago

Its like they believe "constitutional" means "the way I want it"

[-] [email protected] 31 points 3 days ago

Why wouldn't it, they do that with everything else. Ask a conservative if they hate something and they say they don't hate because it's a sin. Ask them to describe how they feel, and they describe hate.

By denying the Constitution of the United States in violation of his Oath of Office, House Speaker Mike Johnson is unironically committing treason right now.

[-] [email protected] 10 points 3 days ago

So he's next up to be president.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

not unless he rapes someone. Then he's on track!

[-] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

He's christian so he probably has.

Any member of the media or foreign power representative must allow Trump to rape them in broad daylight with his world famous big ....ohhh, thar won't be necessary thank you...$10,000,000.0! That's right, if you need to speak with the guy you give him 10 million in small bills... Fives, tens and twenties please.

[-] [email protected] 93 points 3 days ago

The constitution explicitly says what to do with this motherfucker. Stop being such pussies and do it.

So today we care about the constitution? I get the days mixed up....

[-] [email protected] 9 points 2 days ago

So you want a king, yes? You people sure took a roundabout way to get back to where you started.

[-] [email protected] 50 points 3 days ago

How the hell can these people call themselves conservative. What kind of conservative calls for greater executive power?

[-] [email protected] 31 points 3 days ago

They're regressive and refuse to admit it.

[-] [email protected] 20 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

They're royalists but don't want to face reality, they want a king but saying that is about the least American thing you could possibly do.

[-] [email protected] 16 points 3 days ago

Conservative means "There must be in-groups for the law to protect but not bind, and out-groups for the law to bind but not protect." That's it. They are childish assholes that only care about power for their group, and keeping other people out of power. They are the worst sort of people.

Well, the War Powers Act is unconstitutional - but in the other direction. Deploying military force requires a declaration of war, which requires congressional approval, but the War Powers Act circumvents that by pretending that using euphemisms to describe military actions instead of calling it war makes it different, somehow.

[-] [email protected] 16 points 3 days ago

So like a special military operation

He should, for a change, read and try to understand the Constitution he has sworn to uphold. Or, if he is to stupid for that, have someone slowly explain it to him.

It can't be "unconstitutional" when it is right in the Constitution.

[-] [email protected] 8 points 3 days ago

He doesn’t know what the Constitution is, like he doesn’t know what the Declaration of Independence is as well. He even stated boycotting is illegal, and you shouldn’t protest against Israel.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

he views the constitution as something akin to dunny paper. Something to be discarded after he's wiped his arse with it. or more accurately, when someoen else wipes his arse.

Don’t worry everyone, the democrats will do absolutely nothing to stop them. They are complicit in all of this.

Imagine being so cucked that you give away your already incredibly narrow and ever shrinking powers. What a fucking buffoon.

[-] [email protected] 28 points 3 days ago

"Many respected constitutional experts argue that the War Powers Act is itself unconstitutional. I'm persuaded by that argument."

I don't think he was persuaded by the argument, I think he was hoping such an argument existed. Anything for daddy Trump.

That shithead shouldn't use words he doesn't have any hope of understanding.
