Everytime. On a generalized sub, such as r/soccer, if there’s a topic in which right wingers will get absolutely wrecked by consensus (ie israel/palestine), the mods will lock comments before the thread even gets going.

Isn't

Since everything is so filled with AI bots now, I guess it's hard to tell, but I thought reddit was still the place everyone went to ask a question and be answered by a swarm of insufferable nerds.
