I've been given this responsibility but I have no idea what to do. Right now my idea is to just get all of the songs that have been on the various GTA soundtracks and hope that adds up to something decent.

The MP3 player that this will be on has 64 GB and will be used for nothing but controlling the music.

Wesley Willis

If my passenger complains about his music I'll kick their ass out of my cab like that one scene from The Big Lebowski.

Anything, as long as it has lyrics and a bar-chorus-bar structure is familiar to most people. 64GB is a LOT of mp3s, so you can cover pretty much all genres that fall under that definition.

Plus, curating a playlist is a fun exercise in expression and collaboration, in my opinion. It doesn't have to be one and done, it's not a CD-R.

A recording of plates being smashed. Is it a loop? No- just hours of plates and their smashening

i can vouch for the GTA5 radio playlists, i've used those when handed that aux and they're normie but not so normie that it sounds like nothing. it makes it seem like you have a bit of a vibe rather than just following what's big

The entire Mars Volta discography pre-reunion as well as the entire Death Grips discography.

For a less deranged answer, I don't know. The one thing that comes to mind is: if you think there is enough David Bowie, add more David Bowie. but I don't know how true that is.

Anything by the Birthday Massacre. Zero swears, zero crude sex references, but massive amounts of pure distilled existential dread. Example.
