4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Oh wow, if only someone could have told them that Trump was licking Putin's asshole in public not just since 2016, but doubly since the literal invasion (or more overt stage of the invasion, if one prefers) of Ukraine in 2022. God, if only there was some kind of publicly available record of Trump attacking Ukraine and praising Putin this whole time that they could have looked at to predict how the Trump presidency would go!
Alas, some of the most powerful and highly placed politicos in the country were helpless to see what us lowly working-class demonrats saw and heard constantly, over and over and over again, from the puckered asshole's own lips. 😔

But I note that some high-profile Republicans have a spine - despite Elon Musk's promise to beat anyone who diobeys Trump with his wallet (in primaries).
Subsequently, Trump was requested to be more truthful by: Mike Pence, Don Bacon, Lindsey Graham, Mike Rounds, John Kennedy, Thom Tillis, John Thune - and probably others who I haven't even heard of, who didn't make the news.

Only the old guard ones who still are deluded into thinking they need to maintain some semblance of propriety and keep the government running while they loot it. Theyre stuck in an era when public discourse and press actually mattered. But now... This Nazi monster has so far outrun their control that they don't know what to do anymore.
I didn't think I would ever say this, but here it is: I wish that modern Republicans thought more about what Reagan would have done.
(Eisenhower would be an even better Republican to remember now. He would be ashamed to see his party and this country as they are today.)
I'm pretty sure Biden was to the right of Reagan and I think his status as a GOP icon has all but evaporated with Trump in the picture. Half of his base is too young to even remember him and the other half has had their brains turned to mush with all the right wing propaganda.
Eisenower was the last decent republican.
As much as he disliked the military-industrial complex, he also perpetuated the nuclear arms race that began with Truman and Stalin.
So I don't know that I would call him decent either.
Reagan was the worst president in US history prior to Trump.
its well known he had early ons-et alzheimers, it was nancy and the cabinet that was running the show.

I read people on Xitter saying that Ukraine should respect that Russia is more powerful than them and they should give Russia whatever they want.
