man people are making such a big deal outta the veep, the remarkable thing is the comparison to Vance & the uncharacteristically shrewd calculation the dems made for that comparison. but the veep is not that important and the election hasn't even happened yet.
Vaunted "Competent Fascism" is going to be hindered if the Dems don't get a majority in congress beyond the presidency, which is a lot less likely than beating Donnie X Couchfucker. Fascism abroad still requires some level of coordination at home and a republican congress spending all its time trying to impeach Harris for being a woman is not going to be amenable to things getting done
Yeah the most interesting thing about this choice is that it was a strategically sound decision, something I don’t think of the democrats as making often
Seriously after two seemingly least worst decisions in a row I'm expecting the dems to announce their new national policy of "fuck ADKml in particular" to balance out the universe.
What happens when there's no more Trump to hold the Popular Front Against 
together? Won't the thing just start to collapse under the weight of its own contradictions, as the Democrats now lack a bonapartist figure like Trump to unite them through negative partisanship?
On the other hand, maybe they'll just get away scamming subsequent generations by inventing a new to rally against. Would that stick given the conditions. The base of the party won't be the same MSNBC TV addicts who live comfortably enough to indulge such a narrative without thinking.

Much has been made of the “vibe shift” without any change in platform. The DNC and acquiescent Liberal media is going to retcon 2020-2024 into Trumps Second term, with the kind of “hopey changey stuff” (like Obama and Clinton ‘92) tacked onto Harris Walz.
It's still a coin toss between a Trump victory or a Harris victory imo. The most convincing argument I've seen for a Trump victory is that the US economy will hit a major recession in 2024-2028 and the national security state would rather have it be under Trump, which will pave the way for Gruesome Newsome in 2028 since voters will blame the poor economy on the GOP. He's the real competent fascist. I don't think it's a coincidence that Newsome met with Xi or how, like Harris, he represents the interests of tech giants.
this was my read too. he's the perfect tool of the system to drown out the petty whining of the anti-genocide, anti-climate apocalypse left. all the 
shit online is a distraction, they don't want or need our participation, they just want us to shut up.
