Before anyone thinks this is actually real, it’s not.

[-] [email protected] 101 points 11 months ago

I assumed, but still found it funny.

[-] [email protected] 31 points 11 months ago

I was hoping it was real.

[-] [email protected] 13 points 11 months ago

Too bad, I would expect them to hurry it through and skimping on the QA.

That sounds more realistic, but fortnite isn't a realistic game. Put it in GT7 and let it do one lap and die. That's realism.

Aww. I was wondering whether it is a case of malicious compliance from the developers.

[-] [email protected] 9 points 11 months ago

I’ve seen them on the street!

[-] [email protected] 5 points 11 months ago

But, but ,but ,but... It's on the internets! You mean someone would just make up stuff and lie on the internets????

"Even bad publicity is good publicity". People ought to remember this, and simply STFU about the people in the world that really dont deserve a spotlight.

I think Tesla floundering so much right in the middle of the EV boom is proof that there is such a thing as bad publicity

[-] [email protected] 21 points 11 months ago

I thinks it's because bad publicity does help a brand get recognition, that's why the saying goes like that. The thing with telsa is that it already has the recognition so with every other article that comes out exposing yet another flaw with them, ever more people associate the brand with bad quality

[-] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

I wonder if it would act as pro-Tesla or anti-Tesla to show a list of all the problems with Teslas and their current status.

People shopping for an EV aren't going to like the idea of steering wheels coming off or trim flying off at highway speeds.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

EV or not, people don’t want to buy unsafe vehicles, period. Any brand synonymous with poor quality dies

I mean, the Ford Pinto didn't kill Ford, but Ford also had decades of company history at that point.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Ford will take a while to die, they’ve always stockpiled a lot of rainy day cash to weather out bad spells. As you’ve said they had plenty of successful decades and successful cars. They even had successful cars at the same time as the pinto so it wasn’t really a problem

Fiat is still around.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Right. So would it be helpful or harmful to their sales to have a list where one of the items read like:

“Steering wheel comes off: fixed”

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Or being locked out of a vehicle with 11 miles on it.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

There's also the little detail that this is completely fake.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 11 months ago

Wow. Much fail.

The funny part is that the one that's in GTA V works just fine lol
