The worst thing is that plenty of Scandinavian food is fantastic. Its just been memed by nationalists to be "pork meat" (so we can exclude Muslims) and by Americans to be "fish, bread and mayo lol" because they have no understanding of culinary culture that isn't slapping the same spice rub on every single dish and calling it a day. I made an effort post on this on an old account.
But then they do this shit and it's just the most WASP thing you can do. Crusade against flavor + "won't somebody please think of the children?"

Very much so. It's because a parent complained that their child ate one "with pink packaging" WHICH ISNT EVEN ONE OF THE SPICY ONES. And now there's scores of parents applauding the initiative. I feel like a libertarian crying about a "nanny state".

Wait, really? I definitely buy them sometimes (not the pictured ones, the purple one, habanero ... something flavor?) and I know I checked ingredients. Did I really miss eggs? That seems unlikely, but I'll have to check carefully next time I see them.
