If we're moving away from elections and governments, corporations could assassinate each others leaders.

An academic who's job is is to know these things is spending the money to do it. That's the take away here. They're the Canary in the Coal Mine.

Trump just wants people bowing to him. His handlers are the ones with real plans. Don't let Peter Thiel run away to Argentina.

Don't most zombie movies already have a trip to a store like that?

I definitely think even this is over analyzing it. Like you said, it means nothing, but I don't think that was even the purpose. I think it's just a funny word that triggers a dopamine hit.

The protests against Bush II's wars were some of the largest at the time. They were just ignored because they never went past the peaceful stage.

Same as American companies. Send you targeted ads and news articles to influence your world view as a form of new soft power.

Construction companies were advertising the prison complexes they can build at the most recent Border Patrol Expo in Phoenix, AZ this year. There was also a company advertising crematoriums.

HP Lovecraft was more a clinical xenophobe and expressed that in his writings. He was afraid of different races, but he was also deadly afraid of scientific advancement and even the color indigo. He also didn't fund terrible politicians or get into feuds on twitter. You also don't see terrible people on twitter using his writings to justify their beliefs.

JK Rowling is actively funding and bragging about making other people's lives worse.

I messaged the seller asking for the exact name of the connector, but they just reiterated the listing title. I need a two Metri Pack-150 connectors, but I can't find prewired ones and I'd rather not buy a 200USD kit.

Released in January 5, 1999. I remember owning this software and flawless running PS1 games on my Blueberry iBook with a USB controller. Still wild that a company had the balls to release this thing and actually won the case that Sony brought against them, causing Sony to simply buy the company to discontinue the software.

Bonus: Steve Jobs advertising the software at MacWorld.

Bonus 2: Modern Vintage Gamer breakdown of the software.
