Holy shit I've done so much lately i can't believe it's just been a week. Spent a couple more days in Prague. Prague has a very large (north) vietnamese population so i went to Sapa (little Hanoi) to check it out. Definitely not a tourist spot but cool to see and get some lunch in, quite a number of communist flags flying there. Praha zoo is absolutely incredible, seven hours there and i didn't even see the whole thing.

Went on a day trip to Kuntá Hora (Kuttenberg for you nerds.) it's another beautiful little city. Seeing some of the places from Kingdom Come was pretty cool but by far the best parts were the Sedlec Ossuary and the Church of St Barbara.

I moved to Brno, second largest city in Czech Republic, on Friday. Got here just in time for their cultural fest, several nights of fireworks a drone show and a bunch of other stuff going on. I'm typing this while sitting in the court yard of Veverí castle over looking the looking the lake. Took a boat out here and I'll hike the 4 miles back through the forest and along the lake.

Thinking my next stop will be Budapest, it's only a couple hours by train.

Just finished my first week here. It's been exhausting but epic. I've probably walked about 70 kilometers this week which for my out of shape ass was rough. Prague is a stunningly beautiful city. I've spent hours just wandering the streets. My hostel was in Wenceslas square in the heart of old town, surrounded by ancient buildings. St. Vitus Cathedral is the coolest building I've ever seen and hanging out in 700 year old castles awesome.

I made a point of venturing outside of old town/new town to see the "real" city. Even there it's cleaner than any major US city. So far I've only made it outside of the city one day for some hiking but I'm gonna spend the next few days taking day trips to nearby cities and hiking spots.

I think beer has accounted for about 2/3 of my calories this week. Czech cuisine is entirely meat based and I'm vegetarian so i haven't had much local fair. But once you get out of the particularly touristy areas there's a lot of vietnamese and Indian restaurants and the prices drop quite a bit too. My next hostel has an actual kitchen so I'll get to do some of my own cooking and save a little more money.

I'm switching hostels today to a slightly cheaper place about 3k from city centre. Should be cool to see more of the locals hang out spots and such.

I have escaped the burger riech!

I've found myself in the rather interesting position of it being cheaper for me spend my life backpacking the world then trying for any quality of life in the US. So for the foreseeable future that's what's I'm going todo!

I'll be landing in Prauge in a couple hours. I have no real itinerary so I'll probably be there for a week or so before i wander onto the next place. If anyone has some must see ideas Czechia let me know!

ingredientsRed cabbage, portobellos, bell pepper, carrots, celery, onion and fresh garlic. Seasoned with thyme, sage, paprika, rosemary and black pepper.

It turned out so pretty! Only problem is was a flat so i used coconut oil to add fat, it wasn't bad at all but coconut definitely seemed incongruent.

They way she phrased that she's obviously a piece of shit but is standing in corner really considered abusive? That was probably the lightest punishment I got as kid.

I have a disabled friend who badly needs some help at home. Her health has taken a rough turn lately and she's having trouble taking care of herself.

This is the listing she using: "Petite female in search of long Term, live-in companion/support aide. Female preferred. Duties include - Housekeeping, Laundry, Cooking, Caring for animals, Pick up Rx, Taking to various appointments, Grocery shopping, help moving around the house. Homeowner is easy to get along with and just needs that extra helping hand around home! All of this is in exchange for a room and the stipend MD provides. MUST HAVE REFERENCES AND PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK. If interested please email [email protected]"

As it says it will be a paid position plus a room. It's not an x hours of work thing more just hanging around to help out, she really is chill. She lives in Maryland a couple hours from Pittsburgh in a really rural area and is willing to help with relocation. The pets are three cats and two dogs as well as some chickens. I can answer questions or you can email.

submitted 4 months ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

I know it's not that impressive but I've been pretty physically broken for years. I've been working towards the 100 a day for like 3 months now. Started at only two sets of ten a day, today was five sets of twenty. Another could months and I'll be back in Nazi punching shape!

This is after it started to dissipate and captured with a cell phone, it was freaking incredible when I first spotted it.

Remember to encourage any military people you know to do this. It's a hard decision with the possibility of real consequences, the more support they have the easier it will be. And if you can push them farther left military trained personnel will be invaluable to any revolution.
