Doesn't look good!!

Edit: Saw a closeup, he's 💯 dead. Jugular shot and it gushes like the Cool-Aid man shattered.

Edit 2: Fox is apparently reporting that he's admitted to the hospital, maybe he's a snowball that survived hell?

Edit 3: Mixed reporting on if the shooter has been arrested or not. A video showed an old bald white dude in custody.

Edit 4: Trump just had to be the one to announce it... He's dead. Apparently the old white dude was not the shooter. You can see from the distant video that people did not react to a close shooter, it was at distance.

Pretty much yeah, I'll be scrolling through some stupid memes and then there'll be an uncensored video of a child in Gaza suffering horrific wounds with no warning or anything. Uses to be you had to seek this stuff out on LiveLeak, now it just pops up on your feed.

yes and it is a mixed bag (good because, I mean, there is a reason why Twitter WAS the place for seeing news as it broke across the world and why so many journalists used it. and really graphic/obscene stuff would eventually be taken down - but bad because now its run by a nazi who doesn't really care either way)

Yes, I remember during the start of the high-active phase of genocide in occupied palestine twitter was flooded with dead/brutalized people. Also there are entire channels of ukrainian war gore.

I just hope it was painful and not that quick, hopefully he had enough time to reflect on his actions and realize why he is in the situation he is now before the lights go out.

He had enough time to reach for his throat, so definitely enough time for a quick slideshow of his own life inside that awful cranium.

Sadly instant. Almost certain that movement is autonomic posturing from his brainstem being plucked like a rose.

    quite the description

but did you ever hear about that thing from the French reign of terror? Aline of people waiting to be guillotined agreed to blink for as long as they were able after being decapitated. Apparently they went on blinking for a minute? Maybe more? Hard to say how much of that was conscious, but it really makes me question most "instant" deaths.

Yee thats very possible. On one hand i would think the force/cavitation of a bullet would be enough of a shock to scramble everything, but then again a 90lb blade on a track probably has more total energy and thats obviously not enough.

    That's honestly really interesting.

I'm not sure it's entirely comparable as those people were expecting to be guillotined whereas ol Charlie wasn't expecting it. I doubt he had enough time to process what happened before the lights went out.

No way he felt anything. Good chance it severed his spinal cord, also the sudden dramatic drop in blood pressure means you lose consciousness pretty much immediately. There are lots of people who faint when they stand up too fast.

Remember, this is what he wanted to happen to many many vulnerable people on this planet.

it's also the kind of violence he has already inspired to be perpetrated against vulnerable people on this planet. he himself is a stochastic terrorism enthusiast.

Jup, he had "mercy" of dying quickly, while there are thousands of Palestinians bleeding/starving/dehydrating/trapped under collapsed buildings right now, which he fervently advocated and approved of.

This is so surreal to see happen in the US. I’ve seen a lot of stuff like this in Guatemala but you kind of expect that here
