Potatoes are cheap as fuck and fries make so much money
at least in europe, potatoes aren't nearly as cheap as they used to be as the changing climate has led to a couple of terrible harvests in a row
idk if it's the same in the usa though
Back home if the harvest isn't doing so good they crack open liberal skulls and get them that way
If this is what I think it is, and it really might be, they probably had a predicted profit they didn't meet and considered it a failure (similar to how dead space 2 was a financial success but didn't meet the predicted profit and so was deemed a failure and why dead space 3 was made to appeal to a broader audience).
Yeah, I remember EA saying that if Dead Space 3 didn't sell 10,000,000 copies then it would be considered a failure
Which, only shit like Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto sells like that
