In a communist world I would like to be a full-time artist (please let communism come so I can make propaganda posters for a living... ) but since we live in hell I think my most realistic career option is to become the cool art teacher. I have experience teaching art, I'm fairly good at it and I don't mind it. Also I dress weird and I'm trans and a communist and I think being a teacher is hopefully one of the professions that won't make me tone down these things too much (depending on the school.)
if you're an american you're literally braver than the troops(not that hard) and garbage drivers (actually pretty hard) for becoming a teacher
I think this is my current plan for once I finish college โ get a teaching license and go in that direction. Art teachers are always in demand too from what I've seen on jobhunting sites.
I'm so bad at masking being a communist... I remember trying to do it around my lib friends in high school and I don't think it worked very well. Got to work on trying to quietly slip some anti-imperialism into the painting class.
