I got started on 10mg, and T actually didn't increase at all when i halved my dose after a year on HRT and decent E2 levels.
This fucks =) but cutting 50mg pills down that far might be tough...
yeah, they don't seem usable for that. You can realistically taper further by spreading dosing intervals, tho - if you take a quarter pill daily, you can try and switch to every other day. Cypro has a long af half life, a friend of mine takes half a 10mg pill per week and she's as femme as it gets. After you've been on HRT long enough, supressing the LH/FSH/T axis works quite well on a high enough dose of E alone, i also hear a lot of unoperated transfems switch over to monotherapy at some point.
In the end, you have to wait a while and see how this affects your body and your mood and gauge dosage from that. Like, when i go down to 2.5mg/d, after a few weeks i notice there's hair in some places that gets coarser and grows faster than i want it to, so i went back to 5mg/d again.
Ohhhhhhh! Okay perhaps I'll try that, like a 12.5mg every other day, huh. That'll be my next stage after cutting down to 12.5mg a day and making sure all is well. Thank you!
