This is actually completely natural migration behaviour. Waymos migrate south for the winter to warmer climates, which are less taxing on their batteries. As the weather begins to warm again, they travel north to return home and find a mate

New art, "Last Light". All made in Blender, composited with RapidRAW.

Took around 50 hours in total, with a stonking 12hr render time and maxing out all 24GB VRAM ๐Ÿ˜… but at least the rendering kept my flat warm.

Made with True-Terrain, True-Sky, True-VDB and the KitBash3D Valhalla asset pack.

Always keen for feedback to help me improve - would love to hear your thoughts, positive or negative.

I'm not in the US, but here in the UK I made the switch too.

I went from Windows PC + Windows laptop ~2 years ago to now having a Linux PC (ZorinOS), Samsung tablet and a home server running Proxmox with an Ubuntu VM for Docker.

Never been happier with my setup. The grass truly is greener over here.

With great power comes great corruption and tyranny. So begins the dark era of Terahertz

And this rising potency is a direct consequence of cannabis being illegal. Producers are breeding stronger and stronger strains with higher THC content and lower CBD to get the most bang for their buck. This is true for all illicit drugs, as they tend towards becoming more potent when they need to be smuggled (e.g. why fentanyl is often added to heroin, as it delivers more potency per gram).

If you legalise and regulate it, suddenly that pressure is taken away. Cannabis is produced in consistent and known strengths, distributed in packaging that clearly states the potency so people can make informed choices about what they take.

I'd love to open the news one evening and not feel like we're another step closer to the apocalypse.

Honestly, fuck Trump. Where my Luigis at?

I think both of you are oversimplifying.

Choice and freedom take on an entirely different meaning when you have a state media bombarding you with anti-Ukraine propaganda 24/7. It's easy for us to say from the sidelines that we'd never get swept up in a war against innocents, but probably a lot of the soldiers have been fully indoctrinated with the idea that Ukraine are a threat to their families. Not to mention they probably now have friends and family who have been killed or wounded in this war.

Putin is the real villain here. He not only started the war, he's the one who has kept it going by his refusal to withdraw troops, silenced political opposition, lied to his population, influenced global politics in his favour by buying elections, and used his subjects as fodder in this pointless war.

It's fucking twisted the amount of suffering one thoroughly evil man can cause.

My partner is a scientist and has to travel to the US for work later this year. We're both dreading it, given all these stories of people being detained at the border.

This is a remake of one of my first nature scenes; it's always so satisfying to look back and see how far I've come since then. All made in Blender, rendered with Cycles.

Let me know what you think!
