yeah it was sort of treated like a swear word though, and any context in which it was okay to say "shit" people considered it okay to say the R word. Some people had the more modern understanding of that being wrong, and a large proportion of the time it was because they had someone in their family with a disability

I am forced to spend much money cooling my place very aggressively at night, literally it is cold in here, but if I don't keep the mass of everything as cold as possible, then the AC won't be able to keep up and by 8-9PM the next day it will be 85 degrees inside.

Yes.

Some people have so much money laying around that they don't really have an excuse not to help people, so they put an arbitrary amount into savings so they can pretend that they don't have the money they are continually putting away. Just oh I have 1 million dollars and I put 999,999 into that one account, so I actually can't afford to buy you this hamburger right now.
