as a former Pixel fanboy....do not spend a dime on a Tensor powered Pixel. The change to Tensor, coupled with a terrible modem, have killed the Pixel line for me. Which is why im now here.

Not having a quality 3x-5x is a real bad decision.

Looks like the S24 Ultra will be making a change. Keeping the 3x. But switching to a 5x 2nd zoom with a much larger sensor. Allowing them to keep 12mp cropped 10x images but giving much better pictures in that 5-10x range. I think this is the best path. 3-5x is simply too useful to throw to the side.

This is Apple TVs biggest flaw by far. Full dependance on HDMI-CEC which is a finicky piece of tech since its inception. There is no fix. it will works sometimes and wont work other times.

I dont really understand why people want it. Many of us got this out of our system in our youth on Androids. The shit apps you have to sideload are 99.9% of the time shit apps. And thats best case scenario.

Hint for the slow folks......they knew there was massive security flaws lol. Its a feature not a bug. The point is Nothing had no care what the app was. They put out Sunbirds app under their name as a beta app knowing it would only be up for a few days before Apple announced.

Essentially what happened here is there was no actual product. They had inside info that Apple was making this move and figured they would get some free PR from it. And idiot Youtubers were dumb enough to give it to them.

Not to mention the way they wanted to accomplish this killed privacy. Insanely invasive. Nobody should trust Nothing after this, if somehow you still did. And stop listening to any Youtubers who happily carried their water this week.

I drive all over the country. Apple maps has been fine the last year. Even handled Pittsburgh really well. And if you have ever driven in Pittsburgh thats a real accomplishment.

in the last year ive started preferring Apple maps. It doesnt try and take me on a re route that saves 3 seconds but takes me off the highway like Google does far too often.

And one thing they flat out do better is the small detail directions in cities. Like....go past this light and turn right at the next one. Sounds like a small thing but can be a huge help in a busy city you haven't been to before. I also prefer their on screen lane directions on busy 4+ lane highways.
